The 'funny bone' is the humerus which in the bone in your arm!!!! Ulnar nerve is a nerve not a bone.

Emily was right... The question asked was what is the technical term given to that particular thing which instigates sense of fun? or simply the technical term for funny bone.

Technically.. (source wiki)
The ulnar nerve is trapped between the bone and the overlying skin at this point. This is commonly referred to as bumping one's "funny bone". Also this nerve is seen near elbow...

So she was right..

The funny bone is the humerus. The funny feeling is caused by the ulnar nerve when it is compressed. If the question was 'which is the funny bone in the body?' then the ans would be humerus. If the question was what structure causes the funny feeling then its the ulnar nerve.
I am not sure what the question was as I have not seen the episode but on going by the update writer the question was 'what is the funny bone in the body?'
