IS VASU FALLING FOR MEGHA?
Much has changed since Vasu and Megha first met, with the hatred on both sides turning to grudging respect and gratitude. But is there more to it than meets the eye? Is Vasu's changed behaviour the result of his growing love for Megha? Let's take a look at the signs till now.
Special treatment- Vasu Bhau is known as a terror in Ganesh Chawl and beyond, and everyone keeps their distance from him. Vasu also hasn't been known to indulge anybody except people closest to him. But he has approached Megha and helped her on his own on more than one occasion, without anything to gain, which is surprising.
Tolerance tales- As a criminal and a benefactor, Vasu Bhau has a certain image to maintain in his locality. If someone crosses Vasu's path, he is sure to be destroyed, which was evident when Vasu broke Guddu's arm for hurting Baala. But Megha has berated him in public, has refused to bow down to him, and even slapped him in front of the people in the chawl! Vasu refuses to teach Megha a lesson, which only goes to show that Megha is special.
TLC- Vasu Bhau is not exactly known to be loving and caring, as ruthless and dominating are words that describe him better. Sure, he used Megha as a human shield when Guddu to shoot him, but he also bandaged her wounded arm. Not just that, he also picked her up and dropped her home when she fainted. Oooh!
Rimjhim factor- Remember the time when Vasu wrapped a saree around Rimjhim's head just to irritate her? Well, things have changed a lot now, with Vasu taking care of Rimjhim when she was sick, and even letting her call him Paapu! We know that Rimjhim has a charm of her own, but our guess is that Megha being Rimjhim's mother has a lot to do with his concern.
Flirty Vasu- Vasu and Megha have gone from trading insults to now talking with each other as equals. And Vasu has even gone a step forward and has started being fun and flirty with Megha. The way he consoled Megha when Rimjhim was sick showed Vasu's fun side, and Vasu even complimented Megha's long hair and beautiful eyes, all under the pretext of pulling her leg. Flirtation definitely equals having a crush on Megha.
Protective instincts- From being Megha's No.1 tormentor, Vasu has become her protector of sorts. He protected Megha and Rimjhim from Aai's wrath, even at the cost of his relationship with Aai, and even warned Jyotibha not to trouble Megha, or she will have him to answer to. We think Vasu is showing his affection for Megha in the only way he can, with his power.
Sacrifice- Vasu was deeply disturbed when he found that Mohan looked exactly like him, and even tried to console Megha about it. Vasu Bhau even went a step further and offered to disfigure his own face, so that Megha will not be troubled by Mohan's memories! And now, Vasu has offered to help Megha in her quest for Rimjhim's parents, even though this is sure to annoy Aai no end.
Public opinion- They say that people around you are the first to notice when you fall in love, even before you do. And in Vasu's case, everyone from Baala to Ruku and even Aai have a feeling that Vasu's feelings for Megha are changing. Though Vasu refutes all these speculations, Vasu's blush during Baala's teasing, or his smiles when Megha is around, are hard to miss.
