Chintu ji – Chintu ji was the mantra on the sets of Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa… Rishi Kapoor who was there for the promotion of his upcoming movie joined the Jury along with Arjun Rampal. Sources from the set tell us that Karan was seen spilling the beans about his love and affection for Rishi, starting with how he always wanted to dress like him. Apparently, he told his father Yash Johar that he wanted to look like Rishi when he was a kid and badgered him about buying the same brand sweater as Rishi ji was known to sport. Admitting that Rishi Kapoor was, is and will always remain his favorite actor, he revealed his three dreams:
One – to make a film for his father
Two – to have Lata Mangeshkar sing in one of his movies
Lastly, to be able to direct Rishi ji ,
all of which God willing came true. With the contestants further preparing a special tribute for Rishi, the actor was touched and was seen thanking all profusely for their love and support.
