Lauren Gottlieb
International celebrity dancer and now Bollywood actor Lauren Gottlieb is a hit on Colors' Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 6. Lauren who has worked with some of the best names in Hollywood including Tom Cruise, Katie Holmes and Toby Maguire, is now wooing Indian audiences with her performances. But the journey has not been easy for her and she does not take her international success for granted.
Securing a top spot on the international dance reality show So You Think You Can Dance and making her Bollywood debut with ABCD where she's worked with some of India's finest choreographers, Jhalak must seem easy. But Lauren disagrees. "It's not a cake walk for me. I have lots to learn. A couple of things are not to my advantage. I have to learn the language and break down the song to learn the lyrics. I'm also doing Bollywood for the first time and it's very challenging. But I love performing. Luckily I have a choreographer like Puneet who knows Indian dance so well. He knows what's going to be a hit and I think that is an advantage I have", says Lauren.
