They had spent their first day of Honeymoon at the mountain, snow fighting, trying out different activities, hours in just looking at each other, walking together for miles lost in each other's company and soaking in the beauty surrounding them.
But amidst all this, they had lost track of time and ended up missing the last bus connecting them to the mainland Srinagar. They were stranded at the deserted terrain and the night was calling.
S: "Humare cell phone main network connectivity bhi nahi hai. Kya kare. Kaise wapas jaaye waha se?"
A: "Dekhiye Shiv, wahan kucch log khade hain, shayad unse pooch sakte hai ki kaise wapas jaaye? Anandi spotted a group of youngsters at a distance. There were a couple of tents there and the group seemed to be getting ready to go somewhere.
S: "Haan Anandi, Good idea, chaliye." S wrapped his arms around his wifey and proceeded towards the group of people.
S": Excuse me, Hi, actually hum yahan sightseeing pe aye the, but we missed the last bus taking us back to mainland Srinagar. Can you'll guide us as to how do we head back?"
One of the person from the group: "Hi, at this hour, yahan se aapko transport nahi milega. Waise bhi mausam kharaab hone ki wajah se saare raastein band ho gaye hai."
S: "Oh, toh ab kya kare?". Shiv glanced at Anandi.
P:"Hum yahan camping tour par aaye hai. Yeh hamara camping site hai aur hamare paas ek extra tent bhi hai. Right now, we are proceeding for night trekking in a nearby trek site. Aap chahe toh aaj raat ke liye yahan ruk sakte hain."
S looked at A. A nodded.
S "Shayad yahin theek rahega. Aur hamare paas koi option bhi to nahi hai. Thank you."
OPG: "Don't worry sir. Yahan koi aata jaata nahi hai. We have been staying here since 10 days without any trouble. Aapko koi takleef nahi hogi. Haan, abhi thand kaafi hai, isi liye bon fire ke liye logs lekar rakhe hai. Aur, kal subah tak raasta bhi khul jaana chahiye."
S: "Thank you for being so helpful. We are really obliged."
OPG: "No problem sir, see you in the morning tomorrow." And the group proceeded.
S and A looked at each other and they burst out laughing at their stupidity.
A ' "Sach main Shiv, hum dono ek dusre main itne kho gaye ki sach main kho gaye." A giggled. "Waise, Shiv, in logo ne sach main bahot humari madad ki hai, warna hum kya karte".
S ' "Haan, inhe dekh ke mujhe apne college ki din yaad aa gaye. Main bhi apne doston ke saath kayin baar is tarah trekking pe jaayaa karta tha."
A ' "Aapke un doston main ladkiyan bhi huvan karti thi?". A questioned S, with a glaring look.
S ' "Hmm'..kyun aapko jalan ho rahi hai". S teased A.
A ' "Sach sach batayiye Shiv, ladkiyan huvan karti thi ki nahin."
S laughed. "Arre, meri pyaari wifey, ladkiyan hoti thi, kyunke mere doston ko unhe pattana jo tha. Par aap se pehle, maine kabhi bhi kisi aur ladki ke liye kucch mehsoos hi nahi kiya. Aap pehli ladki hai jise dekhte hai, mere dil main kucch hone laga. Aisa kucch jo main lafzon main bayan nahi kar sakta. Aisa kucch jo har guzarte waqt ke saath aur gehra hota jaa raha hain.". A looked at S, too lost to respond.
S ' " Accha aap wahan mat par baith jaayiye. Il lit the fire."
A ' "Theek hai, tab tak main Maa ne jo naashta diya tha na, woh nikaal leti hoon. Accha huva saath main lekar aaye."
A ' "Waise aaj bahot maza aaya na. Khaas kar jab hum barf ke golo se khel rahe the". A said with childlike excitement. S amused. A was at her mischevious best with him. "Aur yeh jagah, sach main kitni khoobsurat hai". S kept looking at A. Her face had lit up like thousand suns in the impact of the flames.
S ' "Haan jagah toh khoobsurat hai hi, par saath main meri saathi bhi kitni khoobsurat hain".
A blushed and lovingly fed her husband and S fed her back. His eyes dint leave the gaze of her wife even for a second.
S ' "Khaiye na Shiv". S ' "Mujhe ab bhookh nahin hai, aap kha lijiye."
A ' "Mera bhi ho gaya".
It was pitch black now. A put her head on S's shoulder. S pulled her up, caressed her cheek ever so sweetly and got lost in those enchanting black eyes of hers. They really were the doorway to her beautiful soul.
Unable to hold himself back any longer, with a bone crushing intensity, S hugged her. He wanted to reassure himself over and over again that A was all his. He wanted to feel every bit of A.
A responded to her loving husband with equal intensity and submitted herself to him. She could never get enough of her angel, her farishta'.
S ' "You know, Anandi, mujhe kabhi nahi laga tha ki mujhe pyaar hoga'Par ab main aapke bina yeh zindagi soch bhi nahi sakta. Mujhe aap mil gayi, aur mujhe kucch nahi chahiye. Main aapke pyaar main doob jaana chahta hoon, mit jaana chahta hoon".
A ' "Aap ne hi mujhe pyaar ka matlab samjhaya hai Shiv, mere har aansoon ko hasi main badal diya. Mere har dukh ko khushi main badal diya. Ek bejaan insaan ko phir se zinda kar diya aapne. Main aapke pyaar ki wajah se phir se jee paayi hoon. Aap sirf mera pyaar nahi hai, meri puja hai, mera maan hai. Iss janam main to kya, agle har janam main sirf aur sirf aapki ho jaana chahti hoon, Shiv."
S lifted his head up to look at A. Her eyes were filled with happy tears. He pulled her chin, cusped her face, and very slowly bent his face towards her.
A could feel a slow dazzling fire burning inside her. S finally placed his lips on her. A gasped and took a sharp intake. The fire inside her grew stronger. S deepened the kiss, connecting with his love and his life in every possible way. A tightened her hold on S, her fingers twisted in his ruffled hair. It was raw and unadulterated passion taking over the two, enough to put the entire terrain on fire.
After what seemed like forever, they broke the kiss. Both reliving what just happened, S felt like A was in his veins now. A hid herself in his chest, as if she wouldn't do that, she would lose the sense of her being.
All of a sudden, there was a sharp flash of lightning followed by the rumble of the thunder. A clutched S closer. After a few moments, it started pouring. Startled, A & S rose up. Another flash, and a scared A hugged S again. S picked A up in his arms. The bon fire extinguished, but the fire refused to die down, it just kept growing stronger. Even in the sound of the rumble, their heartbeats sounded louder and were thumping at a record speed in sync. S carried A inside the tent.
It seemed as if the nature was celebrating the coming together of the two beautiful souls in their own way. The flashes happened more often and the sound of the rumble grew louder, but A & S were too engaged in each other to notice anything else except for the sound of their breath and their heartbeat.
They really were Shiv and Parvati in every essence. Afterall, they finally united in the lap of their abode!!
