Stretching, rubbing my eyes,
with a wide yawn, I fill my lungs
with freshness of meadows.
Chitter Chatter of the birds
slowly filling the air
coupled with moo moo's so dear.
A perfect natural note
suddenly breaks to
the gradual pumping of water
blending perfectly with slow
rhythmic sound of the drums,
increasing its pace to the
sweet dancing maidens
accentuating ambience, while
precariously balancing their load.
A momentary pause and then
breaking monotony with their trinkets
kicking dust, completing the beat
in loud Crescendo.
Flowing colorful dupatta
blending with the light
complimenting vast expanse
of yellow, flowing, rhythmic fields
fill this cool breezy morning.
The new season has arrived.

Hope everyone had a wonderful time and Today happens to be a very special festive day as well:
Baisakhi festival, celebrated across the north Indian subcontinent specially Punjab holds a great significance for the sikhs since Pandh Khalisa (order of the pure ones) was found by Guru Gobind Singh on the same day in 1699. This day is celebrated with a parade in both Western and Eastern parts of the world. Thousands of Sikhs get together and dedicate the day to doing 'seva' [selfless service] and attending the Sikh Parade to proudly declare the 'Khalsa Panth' to have crossed another year since 1699. On this day, giving than taking is greatly emphasized with the countless number of Sikhs doing seva and the distribution of food for one and all. The day is started off with a visit to the Gurudwara [temple] first before the parade takes place. Along with that, Vaisakhi also marks the day of harvest for many farmers in Punjab and in celebration of the harvest, this holiday is welcomed with open arms and much joy.
Friends, we wish everyone a
