For me, it basically began with Animax
Watched Inu Yasha

Fullmetal alchemist

Got Hooked

Joined anime communities

Made online friends
Got suggestions to watch animes not aired in India

Major Downloads

Watched Naruto

Bleach

Got Addicted

Joined more communities
Found out about the existence of mangas

By now Google was my best friend
And my Internet and computer my most valued possession

Read the mangas with anime speed

Loved it!

I haven't looked back since!
It's been 8 years and counting ...

My only problem

Thanks for opening this CC. Talking and Discussing about anime and manga with people around the world (specially South-Asian since it is not as popular here as in West and Europe) irrespective of any genre...just the thought is making me happy. I would love to live this in real no doubt. 😃

Note:
I did not want to bring this up here but my conscience does not let me put it aside either. I read a manga named 'Haou Airen' by Shinjou Mayu 4 years back. There was a sequence of gang-rape and while reading it I wept for that girl who was just a character in a manga. Only 2/3 sketches of this heinous act and I felt horrible while going through it. Back then I did not know real world could get worse than this.
When I heard the news in the morning, like everyone else I prayed may her soul rest in peace but I could not get how her soul could be at peace when those criminals are still breathing on earth. In this unjust world I wish to see justice for a change, though I doubt whether even death penalty is enough to bring her justice.
My eyes got teary but I did not cry because in my eyes this girl has risen above any compassion or pity. To me she is no less than a hero...for fighting till the end I respect and salute this brave...brave girl.

Death-Note is the only one I followed religiously as in watched all the movies, anime and read the whole 12 vol. manga!!
