Hello guys, extremely sorry for being late for this weekend's treat but I work weekends so my schedule is such that I only get time on late saturday night which according to Indian time sunday afternoon. But anyways, here is this week's OS- Honestly, I couldn't come up with something so this is just random thoughts spilled on the page! NOTE** This OS continues from friday's episode BUT according to my OS- Jeevika's accident DID NOT occur after any argument- it was mere accident! Secondly, there is no Virman love story angle here- Since you might wonder that in my last OS, I depicted Viren apologizing for his acting faking fight with Jeevika to bring Manvi & Virat close- That OS stands alone on its own, does not relate or continue to this OS. Lastly, according to this OS, I have NOT included the part where Manvi gave her spare blood to Jeevika- she was simply unable to giveher blood! So, keep those points in mind while reading and it would make sense then! I hope its not confusing & one more thing- this OS isn't solely based on Virika; its more of Virika in a specific situation!
So here goes- awaiting critique and comments :)
He closed his eyes thinking about all that just happened in few hours, but more than anything, Manvi's strange cold behavior was irking him; her declining to donate the blood to her sister that she claimed to love like anything, was making him curious as well. He slept in that same posture thinking about the recent events and woke up next morning as Vanshika placed a hand on his shoulder; she was astonished to see him sleeping like that on the floor, but then again didn't say anything knowing his concern and love for Jeevika. Viren freshened up and came outside sitting next to Jeevika noticing a slight moment in her hands; without thinking much, Vanshika rushed out to get the nurse who came and examined Jeevika. Jeevika regained consciousness and slowly opened her eyes; however, she could not talk as she was still had an oxygen mask on her mouth. Vanshika and Viren smiled seeing her awake, Jeevika slowly scanned her surroundings and saw Viren trying smiling through his teary eyes. Vanshika caressed her hair lovingly giving her an assuring look. The nurse studied her medical condition and explained that although she has gained consciousness, she is still very weak due to the blood loss and her leg injury would still take time to heal. Slowly everyone came to see her knowing that Jeevika is now awake; Dada Ji & Swamini wished her a speedy recovery along with Kadambari and Inder. Shlok came along and placed a "get well soon" card by Jeevika's bedside making Jeevika in an awe of his sweet gesture. Virat rushed inside the room to greet his Bhabhi too; he tried to put a smile on his face but seeing Jeevika in such state reminded him of Manvi's cancer.
Everyone left the room and Jeevika looked at Viren; she gave him an assuring look that she is really fine as she placed her hand on top of his. She couldn't talk but she tried to express herself through her actions; Viren closed his eyes thanking god silently that his life is back. For the next 2 weeks, Viren did not leave Jeevika out of his sight and all of his attention was diverted towards her. Slowly her health progressed and now Jeevika was able to breathe on her own without having to rely on the oxygen mask; Viren would feed her and ensure that she took her medicines on time. Jeevika would wake up at night seeing Viren sitting next to her awake at times and sometimes sleeping on the sofa as he wanted her to sleep comfortably; she smiled thinking to herself that she is indeed very lucky to have him as her life partner. It was now 3rd week after Jeevika's accident, when Viren was sitting next to her changing her bandages on her leg, and Jeevika noticed him being too quiet for the past few weeks.
Jeevika (trying to talk slowly): Viren Ji
Viren quickly looked up to her wondering if she needs anything.
Viren: Kya hua Jeevika?
Jeevika: Viren Ji, aap itne chup chap kyun hai'.. abh main theek hoon aur jis tarah se aap mera itna khayal rakh rahe hain, usse to main aur bhi jaldi theek ho jaungi'. Aap tension mat lijiye
Viren (slightly smiled): Nahi aisi baat nahi hai, bas yoon hi''
Jeevika: Viren Ji, hum accident ke baad yahan Chandigarh itni jaldi kaise'..matlab'.. aur Manvi, Beeji'.koi mujhse milne bhi nahi aaya itne dino se
Viren: Jeevika, tumhare treatment ke liye yahan aana pada'..I mean yahan zayada achi facilities hain compared to Rishikesh to maine socha yehi sahi rahega'..khair abh tum zayada baatein mat karo aur araam karo'..
Before Jeevika could say anything, he got up doing her bandages and turned off the light to put her to sleep. Jeevika laid down there wondering something doesn't seem right, but she slept on it thinking that Viren might still be worried for her after this accident. Month had passed by and Jeevika was recovering well at good rate; Viren was finally at rest now seeing Jeevika well enough to stand and walk a little by herself. Jeevika tried to call Manvi but heard no response from her and Viren pretty much avoided the topic telling her Manvi might be busy etc, which made Jeevika suspicious now that something has definitely happened that she is not aware of.
Manan: Viren'..uhh aap? Anything serious? Jeevika to theek haina?
Viren: Jee Dr.Manan she is fine. Main yahan aaj Jeevika ke bare main nahi'Manvi ke bare main baat karne aayan hoon
Hearing Manvi's name, Manan stood still, wondering if Viren had come to know anything about Manvi's illness. He tried to read his face as to whether he came to know anything from him or has he already come to know. Viren sensed Manan's uneasiness which raised his suspicion levels even more.
Viren: Dr.Manan, dekhiye us din jab Jeevika ka accident huya tab Manvi ne apna khoon dene se inkar kar diya tha...Please Dr.Manan, tab main sari details jaanne ki halat main nahi tha par aaj mujhe sach janna hai'.. yeh baat aap bhi jante hain ki Manvi apni behan ko khoon dene se inkar karde aisa ho nahi sakta. Par agar usne itna bada faisla liya hai to iske peeche zaroor koi khas wajah hogi. Please Dr.Manan please mujhe sach batayiye... kahin uski reports main to dubara kuch complications to nahi aa gayin?
Manan was quiet hearing Viren's queries, but deep down he felt that now is the time to let cat out of the bag especially Viren can take this news strongly as opposed to others, but at the same time he wondered if he can break his promise to Manvi & others by telling Viren. After weighing the situation, Manan finally took a decision.
Manan: Dekhiye Viren kisi bhi patient ki details batana humare profession main ethical nahi hai par aap Manvi ke family member hain to isliye main yeh sabh apse kehne ja raha hoon; waise to maine bahut pehle hi Beeji aur Manvi se kaha tha ki voh yeh baat sabhko bataadein aur khaaskar apko par unhone sahi nahi samjha... aap to jante hain na Manvi ko... voh kisi ko yeh baat batana nahi chahti thi aur khaskar apko aur Jeevika ko...
Viren (eager): Lekin Dr.Manan aisi bhi kya baat hai ki Manvi humse chupa rahi hai... aur pichli baar jab meri apse baat huyi thi tab apne kaha tha ki Manvi ki reports normal hain... phir achanak aisa kya ho gaya?
Manan: Jab maine apse baat ki thi tab mere haath main galat reports thi jo ki kisi aur Manvi naam ke patient ke saath exchange ho gayi mere colleague ki galti ki wajah se... par jaise hi mere paas sahi report aayi maine Beeji ko infrn kar diya tha... us report ke mutabik Manvi ke blood main complications hain...
Viren: Kaisi complications?
Manan (trying to word his sentence): Ummm... Viren... Manvi is a... cancer patient... blood cancer hai use...
The word "Cancer" just shook Viren and caused him to lose his stability for a second; he looked upto Manan struggling to react and he wasn't even sure what to feel- feel sorry for her? feel guilty for coldly cutting off ties with her in the hospital the other day? Though late, he was right when his heart refused to believe Manvi could say no for her sister on the basis of silly excuses! He sat there thinking how Manvi had been acting so lively despite having such a grave illness and on top of that hiding it within herself and controlling herself from seeking comfort & solace from Jeevika by hiding the news from her.
Viren: Abh... Manvi... uska ilaaj...
Manan: Uska treatment chal raha hai Viren... hum bahut hopeful hain ki Manvi Cancer se jeet payegi...
Viren simply nodded wiping his tears and before saying much, he rushed out of the hospital leaving Manan confused. He drove remembering his last conversation with Manvi; his own words came back haunting him. He quickly placed a call while driving and hung up shortly as he reached his next destination; he knocked the door to be greeted by Beeji who was surprised to see him there. He took her blessings and seeked permission to take Manvi along with him to Chandigarh to see Jeevika. Beeji, although confused at sudden visit and suddenly inviting Manvi, nodded and agreed without asking any questions. Dabbu called Manvi downstairs; she ran downstairs and stopped on her way seeing Viren. Flashbacks of her conversation with Viren came before her eyes, she slowly walked upto him little scared wondering what was going on.
VIRIKA
OS- THROUGH THICK & THIN
Vaderas
were in an absolute shock to see Jeevika in such critical state; no
one had thought that their efforts to go to Rishikesh to help out the
Chaudhary family would take such turn of events. With the help of the
medical staff, Viren led Jeevika to their room and laid her down on
the bed for her to take rest properly. He placed a blanket on her and
slowly caressed her hair and kissed her forehead gently before
walking out of the room. Vanshika and others in the hallway studied
Viren whose face depicted worry, concern, and explicit tear drops had
left marks on his cheek, whereas Virat on the other hand was lost in
his thoughts recalling his last conversation with Manvi when she
divulged such a bitter truth to him. Vanshika offered them glass of
water and sat in silence for few minutes before asking for details as
to what happened in Rishikesh, mainly referring to the accident.
Viren, controlling his tears, narrated the whole incident how Jeevika
fell into that animal trap accidently during their picnic trip;
however, he kept out the hospital details not mentioning the conflict
that occurred between him in Manvi. Vanshika consoled him ensuring
that Jeevika would recover soon and that he should take care of
himself and her. Viren simply nodded and headed back to his room
without saying much; he walked near the bed and sat on the floor
facing Jeevika as he rested his head on his right arm. He held her
hand and placed a soft kiss on it; he wanted her to gain
consciousness so he can talk to her, ask her how she is, but all of
that needed time as she was still on an oxygen and unconscious being
under effect of medicines.

thoughts recalling how he told Manvi off upon her refusal to help out
Jeevika and her refusal came across as a shock for him. His instant
reaction to her statement had resulted in him being furious at her,
but now as the situation had calmed down, he had the chance to sit
back and think calmly. At that moment, his priority was Jeevika and
seeing Manvi adamant not to help simply baffled him. Now as he
thought about all this, he was trying to think of a reason that
stopped Manvi from her sister- her blood as she claims, but he could
not connect to her reasoning of being scared of needles preventing
her to donate blood. Thinking about all this, he quickly grabbed his
phone and keys only to rush out of his office and drive at an
extensive speed knowing his destination. After driving for few
hours, he finally reached at his desired destination which would give
him answers for his questions and put his queries to an end; he
rushed inside to meet Dr. Manan who was surprised to see Viren
standing across him.

was elated hearing the proposal of meeting Jeevika but at the same
time, a strange feeling arose deep down inside her, wondering if
everything was allright with Jeevika.
Manvi:
Chaliye Jiju
They
both walked out together heading to the car and left for Chandigarh;
on the way Manvi could not gather courage to talk to Viren and Viren
did not inititate any conversation either. Manvi sat there wondering
how would she face her sister after all that she did or lack there
off; she did not even call her once after the accident had occurred.
Now this sudden visit of Viren was making her think all sorts of
things. On other hand, at night Jeevika was sitting in her room
trying to call Viren but his phone was coming out of coverage area;
she sat there wondering about his strange behaviour since last few
days and especially what had happened between him and Manvi. Just as
she was thinking all this, she saw Virat passing by and she quickly
called out his name. Virat went inside the room and sat across
Jeevika.
Virat:
Jee Bhabhi apne bulaya? Kuch kaam tha?
Jeevika:
Virat, mujhe tumse ek zaroori baat poochni hai... please promise
karo ki tum mujhse kuch nahi chupaoge
Virat:
Kaunsi baat, bhabhi?
Jeevika:
Virat, jab se mera accident hua hai tab se Viren Ji ka bartaav kuch
ajeeb sa hai aur khaskar jab main Manvi ki koi baat karti hoon te voh
baat badal dete hain...aur itne dino se naahi Manvi ka koi phone
aaya aur naahi voh mujhse milne aayi. Virat main janti hoon ki kuch
to zaroor hua hai...maine Viren Ji se poochne ki koshish ki
lekin... please Virat, tum batao ki aisa kya hua hai...
Virat
hesitated to talk and divulge details but he felt now he could update
her especially since Viren had called him telling that he came to
know the truth and that he is on his way to Chandigarh with Manvi
along with him. Virat filled Jeevika in with what happened that
night when she was admitted to the hospital; he told her that Viren
was miffed with Manvi as she refused to give her blood that day.
Virat:
Bhabhi, aap bas thodi der wait kijiye aapko apke sare sawalon ka
jawab detail main mil jayega; filhaal main apko sirf itna hi bata
sakta hoon
Jeevika
was in shock hearing what had happened
Jeevika:
Virat, zaroor koi waja hogi warna main jaanti hoon Mannu mujhe
khoon...
"NAHI
DETI"!!! Hearing this both Jeevika and Virat turned around to see
Manvi and Viren in the room; Jeevika was surprised at both her
presence and her statement. Jeevika slowly walked up to Manvi while
Virat stood next to Viren putting his arm across his shoulder
comforting him.
Jeevika
(teary voice): Aa gayi tujhe meri yaad, ek mahine se yeh janne tak ki
koshish nahi ki teri didi zinda bhi hai yaan...
Manvi
placed her hand on Jeevika's mouth crying and nodded telling Jeevika
not to speak like that; Jeevika lightly slapped her on her head and
engulfed her in a hug. Viren came upto Manvi and stood across her
with teary eyes; he took a deep breath before talking to her.
Viren:
Manvi...maana ke main tumhe Jeevika ki tarah bachpan se nahi janta
aur naahi humara khoon ka rishta hai, par iska matlab yeh nahi ki
main tumhe pehchanta nahi. Us raat jab Jeevika ko khoon dene se saaf
inkaar kar diya to mujhe bahut takleef huyi ki jo ladki apni didi ke
liye apni jaan dene ka daawa karti hai voh usse apna khoon nahi
sakti? Us waqt mere liye Jeevika se badhkar aur kuch nahi tha; meri
jaan uske saath atki huyi thi ki agar Jeevika ko waqt par khoon naa
mila to kahin main use kho naa doon...khair bhagwan ka laakh laakh
shukar hai ki Jeevika abh bilkul theek hai par ek baat kuch dino se
mere dimaag chal rahi hai...ki jis Manvi ko main jaanta hoon voh to
aisi nahi thi; jitna main jaan paaya hoon tumhe Manvi usse main yeh
kaise maan loon ki Manvi apni Jeevika didi ke liye...jise voh apna
sabh kuch maanti hai, use apna khoon dene se inkaar
karde...aur isliye aaj mere liye sach janna bahut zaroori ho
gaya tha aur tumhari sachayi mere saamne aa gayi.
Manvi
was shell shocked while Jeevika stood there confused trying to figure
out what was Viren talking about.
Viren
(crying): Manvi, kitni der tak tum sabh kuch chipaati rahogi? Waise
hi tumne humain paraya kar diya itni der se yeh sabh naa batakar, abh
please aur nahi.
Jeevika,
seeing Viren crying, became more tensed now and she turned towards
Manvi.
Jeevika
(crying): Mannu, Viren Ji kis sach ki baat kar rahe hain? Please,
Mannu mera dil baitha ja raha hai... tujhe meri kasam!
Manvi's
eyes shot up and she looked at Jeevika and then at Viren who assured
her that now is time to talk.
Manvi
(crying): Di, aap aaj bhi mujhse khoon maango gi to main nahi
doongi...apni jaan de doongi lekin khoon nahi...kaise de deti apko
apna khoon, di? Khoon to logon ki jaan bachane ke liye diya jaata hai
na, to main kaise apko apna khoon dekar marne ke liye chod deti...
Jiju aapne us din jaane-anjaane main jo kaha...chahe gusse main
kaha...par voh tha to bilkul sach. Mera khoon safed hai...kisi kaam
kaa nahi mera khoon...sabh kuch jaante huye bhi kaise apko itna
bada dukh de deti main, di?
Jeevika
(crying): Mannu tu kya keh rahi hai, mere kuch samaj main nahi aa
raha...
Manvi
(sobbing): Mujhe CANCER hai, di!!! Cancer!!!
Viren
held Jeevika by her shoulder to support her whereas he himself was
crying; Virat helped Manvi get up from the floor where she sat down
crying. The word 'cancer' echoed in the room and Jeevika silently
mumbled the word 'cancer' to herself as if still in denial. There was
sudden silence in the room, only tears spoke! Jeevika sat on the bed
to compose herself- but can she really compose herself? Her Mannu-
the one who promised to be with her di forever- she had cancer?! All
of those flashbacks came running to Jeevika when Manvi was sick; she
had never thought in her wildest dreams that all of that could lead
to this!
Manvi
placed her head on Jeevika's lap while sitting on the ground; she
cried her heart out finally after months where Jeevika was almost
numb, sititng quietly listening to Manvi and her tears!
Manvi:
Di, kaise apse milne aati...aapse nazarein milane ki soch se hi

mujhe sabhse zayada apki zaroorat thi tab hi mujhe apse yeh baat
chipaani padi... I am sorry di lekin main apko dukhi nahi dekhna
chahti thi...main to phir bhi kal jo chale jaaungi...

(stood up): Bas Mannu!!! Mat keh mujhe di... tumne humare khoon ke
rishte ko ek pal main hi bhula diya... khoon dene yaan na dene se
khoon ka rishta nahi badalta; khoon ka rishta to tumne mujhse itna
bada sach chipa kar toda! Choti se choti baat tu mujhe aakar batati
hai aur aaj... kabhi socha hai mere dil par kya beet rahi
hai...
Mannu
(holding her ears crying): Sorry teacher di... di, kya aaj
aap apni Mannu ko maaf karke gale nahi lagaogi?

broke down and engulfed Manvi in a tight hug who was now broken down
too; finally after months, she was able to let out her emotions and
embrace Jeevika to seek comfort and love. They stood there for 10-15
minutes and finally broke the hug.

tumhara Jiju hone ke saath saath tumhara bada bhai bhi hoon isliye

this, Viren hugged Manvi and Manvi gave him a naughty smile.

Viren
smiled at her seeing Manvi being her usual self and Jeevika and Virat
smiled wiping their tears as well. Viren told Virat to take Manvi to
her room as it was quite late; Jeevika hugged Manvi wishing
goodnight, she assured Manvi that she would not let anything happen
to her. After Virat and Manvi left, Viren came and stood next to
Jeevika who hugged him resting her head on his chest.
Viren:
Jeevika, tumhe himmat se kaam lena hoga, hum milkar Manvi ka
treatment karwayenge aur tum dekhna voh bahut jald theek ho jayegi;
main kuch nahi hone doonga Manvi ko, I promise!
Jeevika: Viren Ji, mujhe aap par apne se bhi zayada bharosa hai...aap saath hain to mere liye isse badi baat aur kuch nahi hai...Thank you!!!!

kissed her forhead wiping her tears and consoling her; promising her
that he will be there with her through thick and thin as Jeevika held
on to him tightly seeking support as they had a tough road ahead of
themselves.
