"Maan, ek minute rukhiye!" Geet stopped him for a moment and looked at him with her questioning eyes. "Maan, agar hum ha bi karde dege to hum aap ke pariwaar walo se kis muh se saamna karege?" Maan looked at her in disbelief… His Geet was asking him such a question that he too did not know the answer to… "Geet…" his voice sounded hoarse… Geet was nowhere to stop questioning him… "Agar humare beech mein yeh sab ho bi jai, ek sach nahi badle ga humare kismath ki… Aap ke pariwaar wale hume pata nahi kis hadh tak nafrat karte hai… Unki nafrat ke wajase hum aisa koi kadam nahi utana chhate ke wo hum dono ko zindagi bar nahi maaf kare." Maan tried to stop her unnecessary questions but she was still continuing with her deep questions… "Agar aap humare liye kuch aisa mahsoos karte hai to humari iss mein kya galti hai? Agar humare Babaji chhate hai ke unki Geetanjali phirse muskurae to iss mein sab ki kya dikhat hai!?" Her tears did not seem to stop at all… her eyes brimmed with tears that were all for his concern. She looked away and got up holding the blanket close to her… "Dur rahiye humse!" She said with all the might in her voice. Maan looked at her with his eyes looking at her with immense pain! "Kya kaha aapne?" Maan managed to speak through the immense emotional turmoil, which was being created within him. Her words felt like a thousand needles piercing through his heart. She looked into his eyes… for a moment she regretted what she just said.. "Maan… wo.. humne galt." She got cut off as Maan went away from her and stood in his vest and three-quarter shorts. He was tying up his laces of his trainers and in a flash left the Khurana Mehal Outhouse.
Geet mentally kicked herself for telling Maan to go away like this… Tears fell out of her eyes like she has 100 litres of glycerine implanted into her eyes.. Why did she have to say that to Maan? Why? She pounded her little fists on to the mattress and kicked her legs and started bawling like a baby who has just lost its favourite toy. Geet stood up and sorted herself out and went into the bathroom and stood underneath the cold shower, digesting to what extend they were heading to.. "Humari ek hi problem hai ki dusre log kya kahege hume iss halat mein aur wo bi shaadi se pehle"… Geet came out and got ready and made her way back to the Mehal with today's shopping.

"Kitni der lagadi beta… Jaow jaake samaan rakhdo rasoi mein aur humare saath aow" Badi Rani Saheba said with all the love in her voice. Geet made her way to the Kitchen still stuck in what ruthless words she had uttered to the man who completed her life. She dumped the bags on the Kitchen worktop and made her way to Badi Rani Saheba to see what she needed. Badi Rani Saheba was in her room sorting out her sari's, which were pressed today. Geet knocked on her bedroom door and Badi Rani Anjali signalled her to come in to her room where Anvesha and herself were sitting talking and giggling about something…
"Aow Geet! Dekho Maa ne mere liye itni sundar saari li hai!" Geet got out of her thoughts and smiled at Anvesha who was happily showing an extravagant saari to Geet. Anvesha went to the wooden curtain and quickly got changed and showed her mother and Geet how nice the saari was looking on her…
"Chhoti Rani Saheba, yeh to bohot sundar lagra hai aap pe" Geet said with a smile on her face. Anvesha went over to her mother and hugged/kissed her and thanked her many times for the fabulous gift she got for her. "Maa, aap sabse best ho! Hum bohot luvky hai ke humari Maa humara itna khyaal rakhti hai." Anjali kissed her daughter's forhead and blessed her and got the Kaala Tikka from her eye and made sure no evil eye was to set on her daughter.
Geet stood there, admiring their close bond… She always felt the vibes of love around her when she was with this lovely mother-daughter couple. She felt upset that she did not have her mother with her today… How much she wanted a mother's lap to fall asleep on, to cry in times of need and love her unconditionally and endlessly.
"Geet,, aap ko kya huwa?"Anvesha inquired as Geet's eyes had a layer of moistness forming. Badi Rani Saheba too looked at Geet and got worried as to what was the problem…. "Geetanjali beta kya huwa aap ko, aap teek to hai?" Anjali also got curious to why she was getting upset… "Badi Rani Saheba, wo… aap hume wo kaam dena…. Hume aur bi kaam hai" she said turning her head away and tears falling from her eyes and with that she ran out of their room.
Geet ran into her room and slammed the door and fell to the ground crying her heart out. First, she did not have mothers love over her head and secondly Maan has left her… Whoever she ends up loving they end up leaving her… Her parents have left her in this cruel world… and Maan… he has left her too all because of her!! Tears brimmed from her eyes and fell unconditionally down her face. She smacked the hard concrete floor a number of times until her own fists were red and swollen and on the verge of bleeding.
Maan felt a pinprick in his heart… It almost signalled him that something was going wrong… but what could it be?
"Maan beta, I'll be waiting for you post Gate Number 3, jaldi se check in karo" His dad spoke through the phone… "Aap ki Shimla ki flight ke liye deri ho ri hai aur humari Abu Dhabi ki flight ke liye…" Bade Nawab Sahib told him over the phone… "Papa aap jaiye, hum chale jaiye ge" Maan's dad nodded in acceptance and put the phone down.
Reality just struck Geet when she heard "hum chale jaiye ge" echo through her body. Only one name struck through her mind and that was Maan! Geet gathered up all her might and straightened herself, draped her dupatta around herself and ran out of her room. Badi Rani Saheba caught her running… "Geet beta kahan ja ri hai aap!" she inquired. Geet did not seem to register what she said and carried on running! Badi Rani Saheba felt confused yet calm as she knows Geet will be able to sort the situation she is running after. Geet took the first rikshaw she saw and signalled him to go to the Airport and fast! Tears were brimming out of her eyes and her swollen fists started aching even more. She managed to hold her hands together and pray to her Babaji that Maan does not leave her and go off somewhere.
Agar aap chale jaiye ge to aap humari zinda laash ko wapas aake dekhege!
Agar aap chale jaiye ge to hum nahi jee paiye ge!

Finally, the rikshaw reached the airport and Geet paid him and stumbled out of the rikshaw running towards the entrance of the airport where she saw Aditya (He is one of partners of Maan in their Khurana Law Firm) She ran upto him and shouted "Chhote Nawab Sahib kaha hai?!" Aditya turned around and saw Geet, she was a mess! "Geet, he has gone inside, you need him? I will take you in if it's something urgent?" Geet ignored whatever he said and ran inside past the oblivious guard who tried to stop her… He grabbed her "Hum aise naukaro ko nahi yaha aane dete, chal hat!! Move! Mein iss airport ka floor nahi ganda karna chata tumari wajase!" He boomed making all look at her and the guard… "Choriye hume!! Get off of me! Abhi hum unko bulaiye ge aur wo aap ko seedha kardege!!" She shouted back. She forcefully stepped on his foot and ran on to find her Maan…
"Maan…"she whispered with masses of tears in her eyes… Maan turned around and saw Geet as this emotional mess! He looked at her in disbelief not registering the face that she was standing in front of him at this moment in time… "Geet…" was all he could utter out his mouth. Was this reality? Or was this an illusion? That his love was standing right in front of him. Maan did not want to create such an issue in front of masses of people, so grabbed her by the arm and took her to an obscure corner of the airport and started his shouting "Kya kar rahi hain aap yaha?? Kyu ai ho? Ghar chaliye aap… Humari flight ki deri ho ri hai!" Alll she could see was her Maan in front of her, she could not her his constant scolding or anything at all. Geet give a damn to his words and threw her arms over him in a breath taking hug… Maan was confused at first as she said for him to stay away from her… now she followed him to the airport and is giving him such a passionate hug that left him dumbstruck.
