Part 2
She paced about the room nervously. She had asked him to come but she had no idea what she was going to say. She wanted to ask him why had he just gone and blabbed about them to his extremely silly cousin! He had no right to do that!
For a moment, doubt wormed its way into her thoughts. Were those moments special for him?
She was so engrossed in her thoughts that she didn't hear him coming in.
Thud!
She was pacing so fast that she bumped into him and both of them fell on the floor.

Thud! Thud! Thud!
It took him a moment to realize what that sound was.
It was his heart beat. Beating so fast that he felt it was going to explode.
It took him another moment to realize that it wasn't just his heartbeat.
Her heart was beating in tune with his.
The sound of her heartbeat was like music to his ears. It exhilarated him. He could listen to it all day long. After all it was the reason his heart beat at all.
He looked into her green eyes and was lost in a second.
The effect she had on him was staggering.
He slowly swept his gaze over her face as he admired her for the millionth time. Her big, beautiful eyes…..her cute button shaped nose……her full, perfect lips…..and her intoxicating scent that always made him heady…..

She could feel his body pressed against hers. But what shocked her was the way her body was reacting to his. Every nerve in her body wanted him. It felt so right to be so close to him. At first she was afraid of looking into those brown eyes. Scared of what she might see in them. But eventually she did look and the intensity of his gaze very nearly killed her. Hundreds of emotions passed through his eyes. But the most dominant among them was love. His love for her.
And at that moment she realized she had to break the spell before she got completely lost in it.
She gently shoved him in the chest and he got the cue. Slowly both of them disentangled and got up.
After a moment of awkward silence she suddenly remembered why she had asked him to come and unleashed on him the hounds of fury.

"What the hell do you think of yourself?"
He paused momentarily, uncertain as to how to handle the situation. He hoped that she would elaborate, but when she didn't, he replied cockily, "Swayam Shekhawat."
Does she really expect me to know what the hell is she talking about? He thought.
Her anger went up a notch.
"Don't play dumb with me! You very well know what I am talking about!" she snapped.
He sighed. I wish I did he thought.
He tried reasoning with her.
"I'm sorry, but I have absolutely no idea what you're talking about."
"Right!" she said sarcastically, "So you can't think of anything you have done to offend me?"
"No. Not a clue."

Was he being frustrating on purpose? Does he enjoy torturing me? She thought.
"If you're not going to tell me about this great offense that I have supposedly committed, then I think I'm going to go." He said calmly and turned to leave.
"How could you? How could you just go and tell her about us? Are all those moments that passed between us special for you at all?" she spilled in a moment of weakness.
Damn! She bit her lips as she realized what she had just said.
As soon as he heard those words he stopped in his tracks.
He slowly turned around and looked at her.
