Maanvi: um..andar aao.
Virat comes inside.
Virat: Maanvi vo I am so sorry. Dekho sab kuch bhul jao sab kuch ko vaysa hi rehenney do jaysey peheley tha.
Maanvi: Kaysey Virat? Mein kayse bhuljao?
Virat: Deho Maanvi mujhey patha he ki mushkil hai par please.
There is an awkward silence. None of them say anything.
Virat: Accha chorro yeh sab. Mujhey tumsey kehena thha ki meyney bua ji aur Maya ko kehediya ki mein Maya se shaadi nahi karoonga.
Maanvi: Kya?
Virat: Maanvi. Tum kya chaathi ho? Ha? Vo choohiya jaysi ladki se mein shaadi karu-?
Maanvi: Choro. Tum nahi sumjhoggey.
Silence comes again.
Virat: Maanvi vo, meinney aaj jo tumssey kaha'I hope you don't feel uncomfortable.
Maanvi: Virat dekho mein abhi kuch nahi kehesakthi.
Virat: Maanvi tumhey jeethni vaqt zaroori hai tum lo. Pathaanahi aaj achaanak mujhey kya hogaya. Likin tab thak hum dost bankey rehesakthey hai na?
Maanvi doesn't say anything.
Maanvi: Virat bohoth raath hochuki hai.
Virat: Maanvi-
Maanvi: Goodnight.
There is a small pause where Virat just stares at Maanvi.
Virat: Good night.
Virat leaves the room and realises that seeing her hasn't made her feel any better. It has made him feel worse for the first time in his life. There has never been a moment when Maanvi has talked to him like this. But Maanvi has made up her mind. She can't ruin Virat's life along with hers. As much as she likes him (uncertain about the feeling of love) she will have to control her emotions. Maanvi does not want this but there is nothing else she can do. Why was this happening to her? She had so many options of paths to follow but none of them seemed to be right. Was this the way of life? Maanvi shuts the door turns her light off and goes to sleep.
Unaware are her and Virat that someone had listened to this conversation. This person was none other than Maya. Hiding on the side of Maanvi's room Maya had listened to everything. She had noted the awkwardness between Maanvi and Virat. She returned to her room and was determined to find out what Virat had said that she thought may have made Maanvi uncomfortable. What could it possibly be? She would push all boundaries to find out.
In the morning everybody gathers around the breakfast able. Virat is shocked to see Maya there as well. He does not want to talk to her. While everyone is eating he speaks to share his opinion on Maya.
Virat: Bua ji-Maya yaha kya kari hai?
Maya: Virat-agar tumhey mujhsey baath karni hai tho directly karo. Ghuma phirao math.
Virat: Bua ji?
Swamini: Virat'humney phaysla kiya hai Maya rahi rehegi. Tumney kal aapni marzi sunaadi aur aaj humney hummari.
Virat: Bua ji par mein nahi chaatha ki-
Swamini: Bas Virat!
Virat: Angrily. Theek hai.
Virat pushes his chair back violently as he does when he is angry and starts leaving from the table without eating anything.
Maanvi: Not looking at him. Virat kuch khaalo.
Jeevika and Viren realise something is wrong the way Maanvi has just spoken to him without eye contact and her tone of voice. Maanvi looks up at them to see they are looking at each other. Maanvi realises that she shouldn't speak to Virat like that otherwise everyone will realise that something is wrong between them
Maanvi: Mera matlab'yaar Virat aysey koy jaatha hai kya? Dekho na meri di ney kithan perfect khaana manaaya hai. Kyu tum bekaar waste karrey ho. Dekho merrey peyt me itni jagaa hai ki mein tumhaara khaana bhi khaajao. Aur bachavaa bhi khajaongi. Dekho me keheri hoon ki khaana hai tho abhi khaalo varna saara khatham hojayega! She says forcefully.
Swamini: Bas Maanvi. Hum yaha khaana khanney ay hai tumhaari lecture sunney nahi. Aapna mu band rakho aur hummey shaanthi sey khaaney do. Virat-
Virat: Issme Maanvi ki kya galthi hai? Aap Maanvi ko bewajaa kyu daat sunaathey rehethi hai? Ussney kya kiya hai-
Maya: Tumhey bari fikr hori hai Maanvi ki'
Virat: Ha horri hai'tumhey kuch problem?
Maya: Nahi mein tho ayssey hi puchrahi thi.
Maanvi: Choro na yaar. Bua ji ne kaha na-shaanthi sey khanney do. Kyu tum dono bewaja lartheyy rehethey ho?
Maanvi's every word has begun to annoy Swamini now.
Swamini: Maanvi achha hoga agar tum hummarey parivaar ke silsilley se door hi raho aur har baath mein apna moo nahi kholo. Mehemaan ho mehemaan ke tharha raho.
Virat: Bua ji Maanvi koy mehemaan nahi hai. Bhabhi ki behen hai. Meri best friend hai. Vo hummari apni hai.
Swamini: Kaun aapna hai aur kaun paraya yeh mera phayslaa hai tumhaara nahi Virat!
Virat: Theek hai bua ji. Aapki iss phaysla kilye aapki dher shukriya.
Virat is leaving but he stops as hears Swamini shout at Maanvi.
Swamini: Aaj tumharrey vajey se Virat ne humsey argument ki. Maya theek keheri thhi. Tum hi ho iss parivaar ki takraar ki karan.
Viren: Bua ji'merrey hisaab sey issmey Maanvi ki koy galthi nahi hai.
Jeevika: Ha bua ji. Maanu ne tho sirf-
Swamini: Bas! Hummey kuch nahi sunna. Maanvi ki vajjey sey yeh sab horra ha hai. Yahi hai yeh sab ki karan.
Virat is fuming with anger. He returns to the dining table but this time doesn't say anything. He grabs Maanvi's hand and takes her up to the room with him. When he gets up there Maanvi is in tears. He doesn't know what to do and the first thing that comes to his mind is to hug her. He wraps his arms around her and closes his eyes. Maanvi suddenly starts feeling sick. She begins to loose balance.
Virat: Maanv-Maanvi!
Virat lets go but then Maanvi totally loses balance. Virat catches her. He cups his hands around her face.
Virat: Maanvi? Maanvi kya hua? Maanvi?
Maanvi: Kuch nahi..
Virat takes Maanvi into his arms once again.
