In simple language...as tuesday I said...

1. TRP is generated in the first 3 mins...how many have viewed the serial in the first 3 mins.

2. TVR - Reach. It can spread around the whole program...be it 30 mins or 1 hr or 3 hrs... Like suppose you watching IPK and and you watchin for 5 mins then someone changed the channel and then you again switched back...and how many...it's like - no.of viewers in percentage multiplied with duration they watched. TVR (Reach) is important for a channel to sell their spot to the PH or companies for advt.

where as TRP is useful for PH to have a hold in the channel... There are other TAM ratings which are intricacies... so, itna samajh lo...for IPK...baki kaafi complicated hain...
