It's the second one. She was cheated and wanted to see him punished, but desperately needed money for her father's surgery.
It was more out of helplessness. Her father needed surgery in 2 days and she didn't have the money for it, so she accepted money to do the acting in front of Dumbeena which she felt very bad about. Rohit took advantage of her majboori.
Anything can happen in an Ekta Kapoor serial. After all there cannot be anything going peacefully, else how will she drag her serials. Remember those looonnnggg years of Kyonki Saas and the other K serials :(
