What they need to understand is that when I took the test in summer, I took it home so I had more than enough time to complete it whereas now, I didn't because I was in a college taking it so it was timed. You can't really compare the two scores but they are.

i'm sure you will :) and don't worry, i'm sure they'll eventually understand! parents are like that..they get angry at you but they still love you <3 just bring up your scores!
