I think we all just need to take a step back and breathe. People are becoming angry with some of these tracks, which are moving along at snail pace, and their anger is justified (ish). I just feel that some of the anger and frustration building up in the forum is a symptom of the forums themselves.
Don't get me wrong, I love these forums, and ever since I joined up a few weeks ago, I spend quite a bit of time lurking, even if I don't get super involved in the discussions. I think the drawbacks of this situation however, are that everyone gets a place to start nitpicking about every aspect about the show, and then the individual episodes.
Take today for example, I watched the show first, without coming on these forums and I thought it was pretty good. Nice and light, with no real drama, which is a nice change from the two quick paced episodes from Monday and Tuesday. I then came on the forums and found topic after topic about how people didn't enjoy the episode (which everyone has a right to express) and then I starting to see all the problems they were seeing with it.
I guess what I'm trying to say is that these forums are great, but if everyone starts doing these in depth analysis' of the show, we're going to find things we don't like. But you can say the same thing for every show, eastern and western. I mean this is the only Indian show I watch, the rest are all western shows, and even though those plots move extremely fast, I still find myself getting frustrated. It's not always going to go the way you expect it to go or want it to go, so maybe instead of getting angry or upset, just take a step back and enjoy the show for what it is, which is some light entertainment. It's not going to be perfect and it's definitely not going to be realistic, but that's why people watch these shows.
That's my two cents, feel free to disagree of course. I just needed to get that off my chest. Thanks for reading!
