The class was full.. well almost..except the two of us.. with a half irritated-at-myself me and a praise-the-headboy Simmi.. !!
We stood at the door..
Me:"May We Come In Maam?"
Maam:"Yess??!"
And she came towards us.. with an enquiring look..
Simmi who was blabbering about THE SWAYAM all this while stood there STUTTERING now !!
Simmi:"Maaa...Maaam..We..We..Got..Sorry..We..We..The HeadBoy..."
"Urggh Not Here Too",I thought!
Me:"Maam .. We Had Lost Our Way To The Class.. We Are The New Joinees This Year.. !"
Maam who had to been quizzicaly looked at the stammering Simmi now looked at me and said..
Maam:"Excuses! Excuses! You Naughty Girls ! All You Give Is Excuses !"
Before I Could Explain Further..
"Maam.. The Principal Had Been Asking About You.. May Be He Has Some Work To Do!",a voice behind me spoke!
Maam:"Ohhh!Did He?Then I Must Go And See Him..!"
And she strolled back into the classroom completely forgetting about our presence!
"Get In Now!She Will Bother You No More!She'd Rather Choose To Be Obssessed With The Principal..",the same voice spoke from behind!
We were saved for the day!
And he went in..
I tried to take a glimpse of my saviour..
He was a pleasingly handsome guy..with sharp features..and looked like the one who would be easy to be friends with..
He winked and smiled at me as he entered the class..
I followed him in with Simmi.. and took the empty seat at the back right behind him..
He looked back at me and put his hands forward..
"Sidharth",he said.
"sharon",i smiled..
