Episode begins with Rajbeer and Simran meeting Preeto near the car. After exchanging pleasantries, they drop her home and leave.
Preeto rushes in screaming "BEEJIII…" in excitement and shares the news of her promotion with Beeji, Papaji and Meeta…she asks Papaji to stop working now and immerse himself in writing a second book…Beeji and Papaji ask how can that be possible, what will they do after her marriage…Preeto says that her marriage will happen when it is destined… until then she will work… she can relax after her marriage…
They all leave for gurudwara to take Babaji's blessings.
On their way back, they meet Pankaj who is putting up his stall.. the name of the stall is JAS AALOO…he takes Beeji and Papaji's blessings and talks about his stall…Papaji is happy for him while Beeji is in a hurry to leave…after they leave, Preeto asks Pankaj shouldn't the shop be called JUST AALOO ??? Pankaj says JAS doesn't stand for just, but its short for Jasmeet (Meeta's full name)…hearing this, Preeto teases him.
After they come home, Papaji talks about how Pankaj, an orphan is working hard in life… Beeji goes and stands at the terrace… Preeto joins her there and asks what is she thinking about… Beeji says she is thinking about Pankaj… the other day Rajbeer spoke to her about Pankaj… she asks Preeto if she is wrong about Pankaj… Preeto says that Pankaj shouldn't have publicly announced his love…he should have atleast made himself capable to stand on his own feet and then asked Meeta's hand to them…but whatever it is, he is working hard for his love…Meeta needs 2 things in life- lots of food and love…even if she is married into a good house full of comforts there is no guarantee that her husband will love her as much… so Pankaj needs to be given a chance to prove himself…rest it is left to you as parents…whatever is your decision we will accept wholeheartedly… Beeji thinks that she will give a chance to Pankaj to prove himself.
Ishu is talking to Preeto over phone… Preeto tells her about Pankaj's stall and asks her to come over to home next day…after Ishu ends the call, Neelam comes to her room and asks whose call it was… on hearing it was Preeto's she taunts Ishu…and says that she is throwing a party to her friends the next day and Ishu can go home only after she finishes all the preparations for it.
Next day, Preeto, Meeta, Rajbeer are at Pankaj's stall…Preeto and Rajbeer are happy for Pankaj…then Meeta and Pankaj get talking… Meeta calls him "aap" instead of the usual "tu"…but Pankaj asks her not to call so…Meeta asks if he remembers all the recipes and she would be there if he needs any help as she would come everyday to meet him…they would work together and make his shop a success…. RajPreet are listening to all this and Rajbeer tells Preeto to see how they are talking about working together…but she never understood this and didn't let him shoulder her responsibilities…they leave Meeta and Pankaj alone and go off on their own… Preeto again starts to tell Thank You to Rajbeer but he cuts her short saying that he is doing it all from heart and he is a part of their family…wont she accept this until his name comes on their ration card…he says that they have taught him how to love and also the value of relationships…Preeto says that they have learnt how to fulfill relationships from him..
At night, while lying on their bed, Preeto and Meeta discuss about how everything is going on well for their family…Preeto says that there is still lots to happen…like Bani's further studies, Sonu's medical admission, their marriage etc etc…Meeta says that she and Pankaj will be forever indebted to Preeto and Rajbeer …RajPreet are poles apart but still when they work together they succeed…Preeto is doing what even a son wouldn't do for his family…she asks you think a lot about us, but what about yourself…Meeta prays that soon somebody would come who would think about Preeto's happiness.
