Singh has done several things on TV from playing host to participating
in dance-reality shows. She now plans to return to fiction shows.
Mona Singh, best known as Jassi from the popular TV serial Jassi Jaisi Koi Nahi, has tried her hands at several things ever since she started with the daily soap. She participated in dance-reality shows (Jhalak Dikhla Jaa), played host on several shows and also worked in film ( 3 idiots). However she never worked on a fiction TV show ever since Jassi.
But now after almost 7 years since Jassi Jaisi Koi Nahi, Mona Singh will be making a comeback in a fiction show again. Also what's interesting is that queen of television, Ekta Kapoor will be re-launching Mona Singh in the daily soap slot.
Industry insiders reveal, "Mona Singh and Ekta Kapoor have recently had
meetings and shall soon be coming up with a new fiction show on Sony
TV. The show is titled ' Bus Itni Si Baat'".
Buzz is that like her other show 'Bade Achche Lagte Hain', Ekta Kapoor also plans to mount 'Bus Itni Si Baat' on a lavish scale. "Ekta Kapoor was instrumental in the comeback of Sakshi Tanwar in fiction slot with Bade Achche Lagte Hain. She plans the same with Mona Singh through Bus Itni Si Baat, despite the fact that they haven't worked together prior to this", adds the source.
