~Episode 99~

Scene 1:

Morning

Maan wakes up gently throwing his arms to his side, to check on Geet. He opens his eyes, when he finds Geet wasn't there.

"Geet? Kahan gayi hogi itni subah??"

He gets up and puts on his shirt...

Scene 2:

"Dadima, aapki herbal chai," says Geet giving Dadima the cup.

"Thank you beta...aapko ab tak yaad hai. Aap wapis aa gayi, ab to sirf khushiyaan hi khushiyaan hongi humare ghar main...Maan ki zindagi main."

Geet smiles...

"Didi...aap yahan??" asks Nandini coming to the hall.

"Haan...toh??"

"Aap subah-subah kitchen main...mera matlab hai jijaji ko chod kar...unhone aapko roka nahi??" Nandini smirks...

"Nandini..." she rolls her eyes, "woh kyun mujhe rokenge...waise bhi woh toh abhi bhi so rahe hain."

"Oh! So rahe hain...toh aap jayiye na...apne patidev ke paas...woh apni black-coffee ka intezaar kar rahe honge...aur apni khoobsoorat patni ka bhi...kyun didi?" she shoulders Geet naughtily.

"Nandini?" warns Geet tweaking her ears, "Maine unki black coffee Deepak ke haathon bhijwa diya hai...Tu abhi chal mere saath kitchen main...wahan bahut saara kaam pada hai."

Dadima looks at them happily. After three years of sorrow, finally happiness returned back into their lives.

Scene 3:

Maan barges into Deepak bringing him his coffee, in front of his room.

"S...sss...sorry Sir...woh aapki coffee..."

"Coffee? Tum kyun lekar aaye ho??? Geet kahan hai?"

"Unhone hi kaha hai aapko coffee den eke liye. Geet Madam toh kitchen main hai..."

"Kitchen main??" he thinks for some time and tells Deepak to go back...

...

"Accha...Madam subah-subah kitchen main ghuss gayi...Bina mujhe uthaye...bina good-morning ke...aur coffee bhi Deepak ke hathon bhijwa diya. Abhi batata hoon," he grinds his teeth.

Scene 4:

"Nandini...tu yeh baaki toasts bhi bana lena...main Guru ko uthane ja rahi hoon."

"Theekh hai didi...arre...ek minute...Guru ko uthane ke baad...jijaji ke paas nahi jaogi?"

"Nandini??"

"Okay...okay...mazzak kar rahi thi."

Scene 5:

"Guru beta uth jao...school ke liye tayyar hona hai...jaldi utho."

He opens his eyes...and sees her face. He smiles and sits up.

"Babaji se prarthana kiya..."

He folds his hands and closes his eyes...

"Babaji...Thank you very much...aapne meri prayer sun li...Sab ki raksha karna aur mere Ma-Pappa ko humesha saath rakhna," he prays in his heart.

Geet takes him to the bathroom and bathes him. He splashes water all over her.

"Beta apne Mamma ko poora geela kar diya...ab mujhe phir se dress change karna padega."

He giggles...

She wraps him in atowel and brings him to the bed. She puts his uniform on him and combs his hair neatly.

"Good boy...ab mera beta neeche jayega aur Dadima ko Good morning wish karega...Mamma abhi aati hai."

He leaves after kissing her...

Scene 6:

In the kitchen

Mamaji is creating a ruckus over his missing bottle. Nandini is totally irritated...

"Mamaji kaun si bottle...kahin aapki sharab ki???"

"Oye Nando puttar...sharab ki nahi...pagal hai kya...woh toh President of Ju-Yes-A Bill Bush paaji ne wahan ki angrezi bhijwayi thi...tu nahi samjhegi...Mujhe mera bottle chahiye nahi toh main yahan par Peg hartal karoonga..."

"Mamaji yahan se chale jayiye...kahin jijaji ne dekh liya toh aapki chutti ho jayegi."

Oye woh Balwant...woh toh mujhse darta hai...dekha nahi Ambrisarr main kaise mujhse khauff khata tha..."

"Oh...aapse khauff khate the ya aap unse darte hain...Arre jijaji aa gaye."

"Kahan...kahan...puttar mujhe kahin chupa de..."

"Main ainwayi hi aapko darra rahi thi...aap toh kah rahe the aapse jijaji darte hain...phir aap kyun idhar udhar bhag rahe the unka naam sunkar...Mamaji yahan se chale jayiye...nahi toh mujhe Biji ko phone karna padega..."

"Nando Brutus kudiye...ja main tere naal baat nahi karta..."

He leaves...

Nandini opens the fridge and is taking out the vegetables...

Suddenly someone grabs her from behind...

"Aaahhh!!!" she screams...

Maan is shocked to see he grabbed the wrong person, he suddenly drops her...

"I am sorry...woh maine socha Geet hai..."

Geet comes there and bursts into laughter...

Maan looks at her angrily...

"Kya Jijaji aap dono ke pyaar main...lagta hai meri haddiyaan toot jayegi..."

Maan helps her from the floor, she looks at him suspiciously...

"Waise aap yahan didi ko????"

"Nahi toh...main toh aise hi...😕"

"Maan...bahut buri baat hai...mere peeche aap apni saali ko patta rahe hain...Hai Babaji ab mera kya hoga...mere pati ko toh ab mujh main koi interest nahi hai..."

And Geet, Nandini and Dadima bursts laughing...

Maan grimaces...

"Geet tum toh gayi???"

He chases her...and she runs warning him...

"Maan door rahiye...dekhiye aap paas aaye toh main aapko chodoongi nahi."

"Very good...main bhi yahi chahta hoon kit um mujhe chodo nahi..."

"Maan please...main toh ainwayi hi mazzaak kar rahi thi...dekhiye please baat maan lijiye..."

But Maan was adamant...

Finally Geet reaches their room...and...

Scene 1:

Maan grabs her hand and Geet nervously turns to look at him.

"Maan, chodiye mera haath...Mujhe bahut saare kaam hai..."

"Kya kah rahi thi tum kitchen main...huh! Main tum pe dhyaan nahi deta...Aur ab jab de raha hoon toh tumhe uss par bhi aitraaz hai. Geet main tumhara haath nahi chdoonga...tum chaho toh chudva lo."

Her dress was all wet from bathing Guru, and Maan just wouldn't let go off her hand.

"Maan mujhe change karna hai...dekhiye aapke bete ne sara dress geela kar diya. Aap tayyar ho kar neeche jayiye...aur main fatafat change kar ke aap paas aa jaoongi. Theekh hai."

He shakes his head...

"Maan?" she pleads.

"Okay...par tumhe mujhse ek promise karna hoga...ki aaj poora din tum mere saath rahogi."

"Kya? Yeh kaise ho sakta hai...Main poora din aapke saath kaise rah sakti hoon. Aap toh office jaa rahe hain...aur mujhe ghar main bahut saara kaam hai..."

"Ms Hoshiarpur...ho gayi aapki bak bak...toh meri bhi sun lijiye...Meri shart toh tumhe maani padegi...tumhe mere saath rehna padega...warna bhool jao," he pulls her close into his arms.

Geet blushes and looks into his loving eyes. He caresses her hair and traces the water drop down her cheek to her neck.

"Maan mujhe vishwaas nahi ho raha hai...ki hum itne kareeb hai...ki aap mere paas hain. Babaji ne meri prarthana sun li...aur aaj aap mere itne paas hain."

She hugs him...

"Haan Geet Babaji ne humein phir mila diya. Par..."

"Par kya Maan..."

"Par Babaji ab chahte hain ki tum ab humesha apne Maan ki bahon main raho...issi liye toh kah raha hoon...mujhe tumhara promise chahiye...varna tum yun hi mere bahon main rahogi."

"Alright...I promise aap jaisa chahein main waisa hi karoongi...please Maan ab mujhe jaane dijiye. Daadi ma mera wait kar rahi hain."

Maan bends and softly kisses her on her cheek. She is awestruck and looks at him, as he smiles and leaves the room.  

Scene 2:

"Pappa...kya main aapke paas baithoon?" asks Guru.

"Nahi..." replies Maan sternly.

Guru looks at him sadly, Daadima smiles as she knew what was coming next.

Maan then gets up and picks Guru up in his lap and brings him to his chair, "Aap mere paas nahi, mere haathon se khaana khayenge."

Guru is so happy that he hugs him, and Geet wipes her tears happily.

Maan lifts his eyes and looks at Geet, he assures her with his eyes that everything is going to fine in their life now.

Scene 3:

Nandini takes Guru to school. Maan is also ready for office, but he is waiting for someone.

"Ahem...ahem.." he coughs signalling Geet about the promise she has made.

She looks up at him, and then looks at Daadima.

"Maan beta...kya hua?? Aap office ke liye late nahi ho rahe???"

"Woh...main...main toh ja hi raha tha...par mujhe aisa lag raha hai jaise main kuch bhool gaya hoon."

"Haan haan...bachoo...ab toh aapko roz aisa hi lagega...ki aap kuch yahan chode jaa rahe hain. Par phikar mat kijiye...hum hain na yahan pe...aapki woh sabse anmol cheez yahan safe hai."

"Woh Daadima...mujhe Geet se..."

"Geet?? Humne Geet toh nahi kaha??? Oh...toh aap Geet ke baare main keh rahe the??" Daadima pulls his leg and Geet smirks.

Maan throws Geet an angry look and leaves...

Geet realises that she'll have to manaoo him now...

"Daadima...please kya main bhi office..."

"Beta...aap jayiye...Main aap dono ko sirf khush dekhna chahti hoon..."

...

Geet hugs Daadima and leaves hurriedly...
