~Episode 29~

Mall

Geet collects the bags and leaves the store with BSK jumping in her lap.
She meets Dadi in a jewellery store...

"Arre Geet beta aap aa gayi...dekhiye yeh necklace kaisa hai?😃 Humein toh bahut sundar lag raha hai."

"Bahut pyaara hai Dadima...😳Aap par bahut accha lagega."

Dadima rolls her eyes...

"Beta...mana ki hum modern hai...par itne bhi nahi ki aisi necklace pehenege😆😆😆...yeh toh humne aapke liye select kiya hai...aap par yeh bahut accha lagega."

"Dadima...par...😕"

"Koi par war nahi...aap bahu se pehle humari beti hain...aur humara haq banta hai aap par...toh aap sirf apni Dadima ki baat manegi...that's all" she then turns to the store manager, "Pack karwa dijiye..."

"Theekh hai ma'am...isske saath Mr Khurana ka gift bhi pack kar de kya?"

Geet is surprised, "Maan ne bhi?"

Dadima rolls her eyes at the manager and frowns...

"Arre Geet beta...inka matlab tha ki Maan ke liye bhi kuch khareedenge ki nahi? Hai na manager saab?" she grinds her teeth...

"Jee haan...yahi..." he gulps.

"Oh, mujhe laga shayad...koi baat nahi...Dadima chalein ab..."

"Arre beta aapko ghar jaane ki itni jaldi kyun hai?"

"Dadima agar Maan aaye honge toh?"

"Maan? Beta woh late se aayenge...aapko toh pata hai na, kaam se badkar unke liye kuch bhi nahi...ab tak toh aapko bhi pata chal jaana chahiye...Hum ghar nahi jayege...hum jayege Hotel Fleur de' lis...jahan humare kuch friends a get together kar rahein hai...Aap sch rahi honge wahan hum buddhiyon ke beech aap kya karengi?"

"Nahi Dadima...aap jahan le chalengi main chaloongi...😳" she then thinks in her mind... "Maan aap ko toh meri koi phikar nahi hai...jinko hai atleast unka dil main nahi tod sakti...Kahin Maan ka phone kharab toh nahi ho gaya?😕"

"Geet beta...kahan khoyi hai aap?? Phir Maan ke baare main soch rahi hai na? Chaliye ab...aur Aditya ko dijiye humein...Aur wahan sirf Dadi log hi nahi unki bahuain bhi hongi...aur main un sabko dikhana chahti hoon humari bahu kitni pyaari hain."

Geet has tears in her eyes and hugs her...😳

BSK is happy to be in Dadi's hand😃, cuz Geet had been ignoring her all the time due to Maan's indifference.

Scene 2:

Fleur de' lis

Maan enters the lobby

"Geet ko phone karke atleast wish kar deta hoon...woh bichari bahut pareshaan ho rahi hogi...Nahi Maan phir surprise ka mazza kaharab ho jayega...thodi der tadapne do usse...mujhe bhi toh kitna pareshaan karti hai woh😳"

"Sir, clients aa gaye hain, they are waiting for you," informs Adi.

"Alright, chalo..."

Scene 3:

Sam in her room

She discovers that one of her bags is missing...and in place of that she has another one with a gents shirt in it...

"Yeh shirt, I didn't buy this...Oh!zarroor uss mall main...uss sweet si lady...kya naam tha, Geet...yes uske paas reh gaya hoga...yeh shirt zarroor usne apne husband ke liye khareeda hoga..."

She was right, even though Geet said that she won't buy anything for him, she bought that shirt, Maan's favourite colour...

"I'll call her and inform her..."

Scene 4:

Dadima and Geet in car...

"Ramesh, car Hotel Fleur de' lis le chaliye..."

"Dadima aap thak gayi hongi, baby ko mujhe dijiye."

"Hum apne padpote ko utha kar thak gaye...Never, arre humara bas chale toh hum inhe ek pal ke liye bhi apne se door na karein..."

Geet's mob. rings...

She excitedly picks it up thinking it to be Maan...

"Maan!"

Sam stops dead at that name...and then composes herself and replies...

"Geet, it's me, Sam...Sam Arora, we met at the mall."

"Oh, I am sorry Sam, I thought it was my husband..."

"Your husband's name is Maan?... Anyways I wanted to say sorry to you...I accidently messed up our bags...Your bag with a shirt in it is with me and mine is with you...You give me your home address I'll send someone to fetch it and return yours."

"Okay...but send it in the evening...cuz now I am going to Hotel Fleur de' lis with my Dadima..."

"Hotel Fleur de' lis?? Great...I am also staying here...just give me a call when you reach there, and I'll meet you then."

"Great."

"Bye Geet."

"Bye Sam."

After their phone convo. is over Dadima looks at Geet and asks,

"Geet beta, who was that? Aapki koi friend thi?😳"

"Nahi Dadima, actually I forgot to tell you, we met at the mall. Her name is Sam Arora...😃"

Dadima suddenly looks shocked and is no longer listening to Geet...

"Dadima kya hua? Are you alright?"

"Kuch nahi beta...😕" she dismissed the fear feeling that she was over reacting and that Sam could be anyone, not necessarily the one she was thinking, whom she never wanted to see ever in her life, or her family's lives, especially in Maan's life.
