this is awesome... as i skipped most of this when i first watched

considering that this was the very first epi... it was great... very interesting... especially for someone like me, who has heard about the way women/girls are mistreated in some parts of the world... but who has never actually seen it...

the first scene itself, made me sit up & pay more attention... a girl being killed by her own brother & her best friends brother, just because she was romantically involved with a guy... & was talking to him without the family knowing... in other words for simply dating a guy...

& then came the house... where just the names of the men brought fear into the women's heart... & it was very well expressed... the women going about their work... a mother being happy for her daughter... cox her daughters marriage was almost fixed with an NRI...

then the moment everyone was waiting for... the actual introduction of the lead character... who was running out of class... not even waiting when a friend called... simply saying that there was someone waiting for her... the first impression was she was talking about the guy who was coming to the house that day... only later on to realize she went to see her younger brother... so sweet...
even though she was running, so she wont be late... she stopped to dance... suggesting that she's a girl who loves to have fun... & when she saw her sister pretending to be an elder, just to scare the younger girl, showing she loved to tease her sister... all normal things for an 18 year old...

& then typically to meet the NRI before he reaches the house...

the unfairness of the men when they asked her why she was walking around without her duppatta... & ignoring the dirt on her dress & self... just by looking at her one can see she had been in some sort of trouble... but the only thing that the men saw was that her duppatta was missing... & then punishing her for that...

anything i would have changed...
nothing... the epi was portrayed perfectly...

since this is a re-watch i want to add that i would have loved for Geet's parents to have seen the woman that crying girl turned into... the life she built for herself...

on a personal note... DD was awesome in the epi...

plz dnt throw chappal at me after reading this...i just nw read a post saying LOK is getting good response be it true r rumor i think return of certain actors tend to bring fans of their fav stars...and mite get a fan base wic will go on certain ( no fan base an reach GC DD's im proud to say tat) but v sud not take things easily also whtr the plot of the shows are good r not the ppl will tend to watch it oz of their fav actors.me feeling sad that LOK (SO) sud not forget starone...

PS: me felt sad reading tat news so tat posted ma POV here...i can share ma feeling here only na

these ppl are quite intelligent knwing Rajeev's fan base they are airing sach ka samna in LOK wic actually supposed to be aired in SO long back
