Hi... I'm Aysha new to this forum... Started to watch Preeto recently...
Just came across this ff... Oh I loved your writing its beautiful...
But the 3rd part... Its so sad I was on the verge of tears... Feeling bad for both of them...

The revelry started and as d rings exchanged fingers, the party flowed in its full form. D dance floor was first graced by d new couple and soon joined along with others. Preeto was blindly going about with d usual load of social etiquettes, when d change of track and a new addition on d dance floor caught her attention. Amidst a splattering applause, rajbeer and simran waltzed. As the slow rhythm flowed across the hall, they painted the music with their feet.

 

Tum bhi ho wahi, hum bhi hai wahi...Baat phir yeh kyun, ab lagti hai nayi
The swaying couple glided across the dance floor, very near to where preeto now stood, trying to suppress her sudden surge of possessiveness. 

Kya hua galat aur kya sahi...Dono saath hain, sach to hai yehi
The music changed into a fast pace. Preeto along with many onlookers were forced onto the floor. She found herself with Pankaj at one moment & in another she faced rajbeer.

Yaadein bahut si reh gayi peechay kahin...

Preeto strode away from him, but he held on to her wrist.

Yeh pyaar ab aagey hume kheechay kahin...

& pulled her back against him.

Ki door tak bechain hai sab raaste...

Rajbeer takes one arm and wraps it around her waist, just below the rib cage, both facing the audience.

Iss haal mein tu muskara mere vaaste...

While he laid his other palm flat against her cheeks and swayed her sideways.

Tum bhi ho wahi, hum bhi hai wahi...

Their arms cut a vertical semi-circle in the air, their skins against each other, feeling like hot iron...

Baat phir yeh kyun, ab lagti hai nayi...

Rb drags his fingers along her arm lying limp across her side, leaving a line of fire from her fingers till her shoulders...

Kya hua galat aur kya sahi...

In a swift movement he raises both her arms.

Dono saath hain, sach to hai yehi...

& as he slides down across her hands, preeto lets out an involuntary gasp.

The tempo of the music increases, but they seem to be reading the music.  Their moments of intimacy & intensity, starting to attract attention.

Preeto was now finally facing rajbeer. They now danced in a very close embrace, their upper bodies in close contact while lower moving in small steps.

Ab din dhale chahe jahan ab shaam ho...

Connected by a silent language...the sensuousness of their love...visually and physically expressed through their movements and eyes.

Parwah kya ab chahe jo anjaam ho...

With his hands firmly on her waist, they spanned the length of the room, spinning. The power of suppressed passion making them loose themselves in each other.

Woh asmaan...

With both his hands gripping her waist, rb lifts her. His fingers digging deep into her soft skin.

ho ya zameen...

She slowly slides down against his hard muscled body, gazing down into the depths of his eyes, eyes, which had not even for a moment, left sight of her...

Humne likha pyaar ko har kahin...

& as her feet touched d ground, she is immediately transported to heaven. Rb had run his fingers into her now flowing hair, on its way caressing d sides of her neck.  A slight nudge near her waist & she understood dat a drop was about to come. She left herself to fall against his hands, which were firmly on her waist and head.

Sheeshay ka hai har ek pal...

As she rose, he spun her away and close...so close that for a moment she parted her lips for his.

 iss mein chupa hai apna kal...

He spun her away again, but this time as he pulled her back, she was completely lifted off her feet. Rajbeer with Preeto in his arms, spun in d now empty dance floor.

Tootey na ye sambhalo isse...

Before he had even left her, preeto felt the sudden jolt of iciness enveloping her. But as he lowered her down on her feet, preeto wasn't sure whether it was emanating from her partner or from the audience. Despair gripped her as the reality sunk in and as rajbeer turned and walked off from her. She found herself alone facing all the hostile eyes. The music still playing on...as if asking d questions that drummed aloud in her own heart...

Kya hua galat aur kya sahi??...Dono saath hain, sach to hai yehi...

Sach?? Truth... "The truth will set you free, but first it will make you miserable."

But will I ever be free...or do I want to be? Is it just better to be miserable, than be free...of him...from him...
