I guess its because of the character and camera effects... maybe the script requires that..so they can keep making fun of his weight with funny dialogues...dont know, thats what i think...
..also all his suits are too tight...which makes him looks more plump... he looks so dashing with loose shirts...😍 😍 I hope with time CV's decide to start making his character a little light, and change his wardrobe to something more comfortable.
