Thanks for the PM, it was outstanding. I totally loved Jeevika, and how she defined her relationship with Manvi. I could literally imagine the scene in my mind. You brought out the best of Jeevika-Manvi relationship through your words. Virat is beginning to realize his feelings for Manvi. Overall, I m giving you a standing ovation for this part 👏Edited by rev4eva - 12 years ago

Dear angelofillusion,

It's a pleasure to read your work; your story goes along with the drama and fits with it very well.  The emotions and how every single character is portrayed by your outstanding script are precisely like the way the characters in the show would do or feel. You surely have a talent; you inscribe so artistically that I can imagine each and every part. Good luck on the finals.  I have mine too this week and I am not even prepared for them because I am so addicted to India-forums. Oh and I just love how fast you update. Thank you so much for sharing your superb work, keep on rocking.😊

Best,

Maira

Thank you sooo much for the beautiful words of encouragement :) They mean a lot to me!

Part 7:

Dr. Manan briskly walked over to Dr. Sippy and the other consulting physicians. There were clear signs of worry on their faces. While Viren was helping Jeevika sit on the couch in the waiting room, Virat gathered the courage to approach the team of doctors. He knew he had no option but to face the truth. Chacha followed Virat to inquire about Maanvi's health. "Mr. Vadhera and Mr. Chaudhary, could you please step inside?" asked Dr. Sippy while pointing towards Dr. Manan's cabin. Two of the most important men in Maanvi's life followed the two doctors. As Virat and chacha settled in the chairs, Dr. Manan took out the X-rays to explain something.

"As you know, Maanvi is in coma. But the problem doesn't end there. She has second stage blood cancer. Her blood reports show enlarged lymph nodes and inflamed abdominal organs. In simple words, the tumor cells have started to take over her immune system. Although it is usually possible to cure second stage cancer, the fact that she is in coma makes it all the more harder for us. We would also suggest you to move Maanvi to a bigger city, where specialists and oncologists can look after her. She needs optimum treatment at this stage to recover from both cancer and coma. Now I don't know if you would like to tell everyone, especially Jeevika, at the moment because they are already under a lot of shock but this is something that needs to be taken care of immediately. I'll leave it up to you two to decide what's in favour for both families. Please excuse us as we'd like to discuss potential options for her treatment" Dr. Manan explained as him and Dr. Sippy stepped out of the cabin.

Neither chacha, nor Virat had words of consolation for each other. Viren had heard everything and he too felt lost for words. He didn't know why God was so harsh with the sisters – he had taken away their parents at a young age, had them grow up without many facilities, separated them due to Jeevika's marriage, and now this… How was he to trust God after this? How was anyone supposed to believe that God still existed? What did Maanvi ever do to anybody? Was her fault that she put a smile on everyone's face? Or was it that she loved her sister unconditionally? Or maybe it was Jeevika's fault that she wouldn't be able to survive without Maanvi's love? A million questions surrounded him but they didn't bring answers with them.

Dadaji broke the silence: "Viren, I think it will be in everyone's best interest, especially Jeevika's if we brought Maanvi to Chandigarh. We will hire personal nurses for her and have Dr. Sippy visit every day for a checkup." Viren knew this wasn't a suggestion; it was dadaji's order. Not that he minded but he also knew that no amount of care would easily bring Maanvi back. Even if she became conscious, how would he break it to her and her sister that she was fighting cancer every breathing minute of her life?

Virat robotically went to pay the hospital bills, while chachi, Vanshika and beeji helped Maanvi lie comfortably in the ambulance. Jeevika silently watched the whole process, at the same time Viren shed a tear seeing Jeevika in such condition. Dr. Manan handed over Maanvi's old reports to chacha and assured him that they could call him even at four in the morning. Both chacha and Dr. Manan knew that the words of sympathy were empty – no amount of care would bring back their happy lives.

"Maanvi sure is in a state of coma but human brain is very sensitive. She can hear everything you say; she just lacks the senses to show her emotions back. I know it will be very hard but all of you must put a strong face for her. Talk to her every day, share all your happy moments with her, live life as you with her being right there, do not cry in front of her… and most of all, give her the love she needs. Sometimes a little bit of love does the magic, even when medical science has failed. If you cry, it will just be harder for her to recover. And Jeevika…" before Dr. Manan could finish his sentence, Jeevika stood up and claimed, "I will bring my Mannu back. I want to see how long God can test my patience. I will wait for seconds, minutes, hours, days, months, years, decades … right by her side, and wait for her to call me Di again."

Viren was stunned at his wife's courage, her determination, her passion to bring her sister back to life. He immediately promised himself to help her in any way possible. He held Jeevika's hand in assurance. Jeevika flashed him a feeble smile; he could tell she had struggled to put up that smile so he wouldn't worry about her. Virat returned after taking care of the clerical business and without a word, walked to the parking lot. Viren and Jeevika quietly followed him.

--------------------

Virat was driving at 120 km/hr before they even reached the highway. Viren could understand why Jeevika was upset but he still failed to understand what had happened to Virat. After years, he saw the same pain in Virat's eyes that existed when he had first returned from the US. The trio was silent during the entire way home. The silence was not serene; it had the motion of earthquake and the sound of thunder. It was killing each of them to stay silent and hide their emotions but each put on a strong face for the other two. It was dawn by the time they reached Vadhera mansion. Viren hoped that these fresh, new rays of sunlight would bring rays of hope in their lives as well. Virat parked the car and simply rushed towards Maanvi's bedroom, where she was hooked to numerous pipes.

This is not my bandariya, he told himself as he carefully let his warm hands caress Maanvi's head. Please come back soon… for Jeevika bhabhi, for bhai, for beeji, for Dabbu, for…for…me, he continued his thoughts. Virat was in denial; he didn't believe his own thoughts. He suddenly withdrew his hands when he felt as if Maanvi had read his mind. There was a positive aura in the room. He searched around to see if anybody was present but nobody …

Jeevika is strong, she can pass this hurdle with Viren. It'll be nice if this actually happens in the show. Virat is discovering that Manvi is more than his "Bhabi ki Bhena". Good update:)

Again, another amazing piece of work from you. Now I can relate the title of the SS to the story well. I feel the title "Jeena ka ishare mil gaye"  is not only for Manvi but also for Virat. Virat's emotional turmoil was perfectly penned while Jeevika again rocked. Loved her determination and strength fighting for Manvi, Viren's character was again awesome. I have the inner feeling that I m actually watching the scenes in my mind instead of merely reading it.👍🏼

Thank youuu! I can't thank you enoughhh!
And yess, soon it will all fall in place. The subtle hints regarding the title are already there, exactly how you picked up :)

& that's the feeling I wanted everyone to have - not just read these but feel these scenes - as if they are happening right in front of their eyes!
