thanks Roopla for posting the TRP'S
Vrish i am highly disappointed with the ways the makers are showing the Pradumn story ...that boy playing pradumn is not at all impressive ...the show is sooo dull ...

we the viewers never felt satisfied with the ways production house treatment with the show...always unhappy :((

I like the guy playing Pradhyumna, but there are quite a number of problems I have w/ his characterization:
  • He's pretty sullen & defiant - the real Pradhyumna was brought up in a pretty loving environment by his real wife Mayavati
  • His costumes are from god knows where?  Even in Classical India (think during CGM era) they didn't wear such things
  • Obviously the storyline, which isn't remotely close to the original
The serial knows that if they don't show Krishna for a few weeks, TRPs will tank.  The way around it would have been to show Pradhyumna scenes, and Krishna scenes happening independently of him.  For instance, during the time they were showing things like Narakasura, Sudama (the original story), Paundrak, they could have shown what's happening to Pradhyumna in parallel, and at the end of his track, converged his story by making him join Krishna.

Of course, this is part of the larger problem - Krishna's kinsmen - Balarama, Revathy, Vasudev, Devaki, Subhadra, Satyaki, et al are all missing in action.  End result is a really dull serial.

Also, I'm doubting that they'll show the Mahabharata track again.  As far as this serial goes, Duryodhan became yuvraj of Hastinapur, the Pandavas disappeared, and the Kauravas lived happily ever after

Though I came across the serial Dwarkadeesh lately I find this as engrossing as yesteryears Ramayana & Mahabharata. After my phoning many of my friends and relatives all have started seeing this as they were not aware of this serial and cancel all other programmes during this period. This may not bereally reflected by email or post comments statistics ,but I can see many are seeing and enjoying the the not too familliar part of Shri.Krishna

Thank you
Thankyou onceagain for airing such a nice serial.
one more suggestiuon is that if you can get it in other languages more will see this serial

High time Imagine TV winds up this show.  They have 2 new serials, while among the existing ones, Preeto is going bonkers but is still popular, BAVD's becoming more entertaining and Haar Jeet is slightly improved.  I now understand why Colors pulled JSK - Sagar Pictures are totally inept in depicting Krishna's stories.  Imagine should take a page out of them and pull this serial, instead of subjecting us to this bakwas tracks of Lata and her blind parents.
