yep Ila Bedi and team r sending across a good message here. not all indian television characters have to be one dimensional. we all thought mandira was mindlessly stupid and selfish. we thought she was just a kid who would not be able to defend herself against pappu. but man this chick is chaalu. she can take care of herself and a dozen others. she is clever. as rishi kumar said she is very hoshiyaar when it comes to her own selfish means and ends. 😆
