Why are Maratha men fat?

In the show most maratha men are shown fat and with tummy...In reality, these people sure are not this fat...why are they shown like this then?? 🤔 Edited by ~*sunshine*~ - 12 years ago

LOL, this is the first time I am hearing this ... most of them were warriors, trained in combat, while others were hard working farmers. They were probably not as tall as the Mughals or the Nizams or Adilshahis, but they were certainly not fat.
