~ 6th December Written update ~
Aditya, Vidya and Chiku are in the village and Vidya is showing Aditya around and telling him about her childhood. Vidya is teasing Chiku so he leaves saying he has to go to the fields. Just then Vidya sees her friend Rupa, they are both happy to see each other. Rupa is pregnant and Vidya gets upset on hearing that. Rupa asks Vidya how many months pregnant she is. Vidya becomes sad and Aditya also feels bad. Rupa tells Vidya how they used to talk before marriage how the two friends would get married and become mothers at the same time. Making an excuse Vidya leaves from there, telling Aditya she has to show him something. Aditya feels bad.
Devyani is back home and complaining to Priya and bauji about SJ (the professor). Priya asks Devyani why she is angry. Devyani tells her SJ didnt have time for her and should have seen her another time. Priya tells Devyani she will arrange another meeting for her and will also stay with her. But Devyani tells her she doesnt want to see his face. Bauji tells Devyani she will have to, otherwise she will have to see Brahmas face instead which she has been seeing for thirty years. Bauji also reminds Devyani that no other lawyer is willing to take her case.
Just then Uttara comes in talking on the phone and holding some shopping bags. She is inviting someone to join in her happiness too. Bauji, Devyani and Priya are not happy listening to this. Priya notices the shopping bags too. Seeing them Uttara hangs up. Whilst trying to take the phone, one of her shopping bags drops from her hands. Inside the bag it looks like a wedding outfit which everyone sees. Looking embarassed, Uttara picks it up. Bauji tells her how she didnt waste even one minute. Uttara replies by telling him when the time is right, time should not be wasted. She then leaves. Devyani looks on sadly. She tells Priya to arrange another meeting with Shubankar(she called him that). Priya nods her head and looks at bauji who is happy on hearing this.
Uttara in her room all happy phones Brahma. Brahma doesnt answer the phone. She tries again but still he doesnt answer. She puts the bags in the wardrobe and calls Brahma again. The officer with him tells him its the eight call, it might be important. He picks it up. She tells him she has a surprise and wants him to come home. Brahma tells her hes busy. But he will come and slams the phone down.
In the vilage uncle is telling aunty how everyone keeps on asking him, when he will become a nana. He tells aunty they should get Vidya treated by a doctor and he has already made an appointment. Aunty is shocked. Uncle tells her she has to take Vidya as its been a year and there is still no child. He says its up to god but they have to atleast try. Aunty tells him they should ask Vidya first, but uncle gets angry saying there no need to ask her. Just then Adi and Vidya come back. Adi gives some jalebis and samoosas to Chiku. Chiku teases Vidya about stealing jalebis.
Adi sits down for dinner and talks to uncle about a mandir. Uncle tells him all wishes are fulfilled there. Adi tells him Vidya is taking him tomorrow. But uncle tells him he will go instead as Vidya has to go someplace with her mother. Vidya is surprised hearing this.
Priya is on the phone. She tells Devyani they have got an appointment for tomorrow morning. Devyani asks if its by the pool.Priya says its in a dance class. Devyani asks her, why not an office, doesnt he have one. Priya tells her he does but he is not a typical lawyer who likes to work from his office. Devyani is pleased with his attitude but Priya tells her at the moment they have no other choice so thay might as well consult him. Devyani agrees. Priya tells her she will have to go on her own as sir doesnt want Priya to go with her. Devyani is not happy about it but she agrees to go aslong as he takes her case. Brahma overhears this and questions Devyani. He asks who the new lawyer is. Priya tells him there are a few lawyers and nothing is final yet. Brahma tells her he must have a name. Priya asks him why is he so interested in finding out their names. And tells him not to worry as he will be the first one to find out. Brahma tells her he just wants a divorce and leaves angrily. Devayni asks Priya why she didnt tell him the name.Priya tells her its best not to say anything until everything is final.
Brhama talking on the phone and telling his officer to find out about the lawyer. Uttara pulls him into her room when he is walking past. He tells her hes tired. She makes him sit on the bed and makes him close his eyes. She goes to the wardrobe. Brahma sneakily looks, when she turns around he closes his eyes again. She shows him her wedding sari and his sherwani for them to wear on their wedding. Brahma is shocked. He gets angry then calmly tells her what was the rush, they could have gone together. She tells him shes so happy regarding their wedding. He tells her to think about Tara. Upon hearing this Uttara becomes sad. She tells him she will tell her when she comes home during the holidays. She hugs Brahma but Brahma is anything but happy.
Vidya asks her mother where does she have to go. Aunty tells her, her father is not to be blamed but the villagers think Vidya is barren. Therefor her father wants her to get treated so she can become a mother. Vidya tells her mother how can they believe what the villages say as her mother knows the truth that there is nothing wrong with her then how can she go and get treated. Her mother tells her how her father does not know the truth about Gaurav. Vidya tells her how can her father see fault in her and not his son in law. Her mother tells her society can see fault in a woman but not a man. Vidya tells her she will not tolerate this unfairness and will not go with her to get treated.
