Part 17
Maan was sitting beside Adi and they were listening to Sasha's presentation but Maan stole glance at his Gee taka Sonia. He couldn't believe that there was a girl who looks exactly like his Geet. Sonia was concentrating on presentation. Adi was continually staring at Sonia but Maan nudged him and gestured to concentrate on presentation as someone needs to concentrate on it.
Sonia knew that she'll have to act as if she doesn't know her Maan Bhai but her heart was feeling some sort of happiness as if he's close to her heart more than anyone. Maan after meeting went near her to talk to her. She talked as if she is seeing him for first time. But in middle of the conversation little Ammy rushed inside the conference room followed by frightened Tasha. Ammy ran towards Maan and hugged him tightly. Maan shot an angry glance at Tasha who was looking as if Maan is going is a Monster. Geet looked at Ammy and smiled, she felt an unknown urge to take the small kid in her arm and kiss him all over his face. Ammy suddenly noticed Sonia (Geet) and called her Mama which made her shock and unknown feeling of happiness. But then she snapped those feelings and looked at Maan with a question and pretended that she didn't like it. Maan noticing her face, apologized her. He was now sure that this is not his Geet because when Ammy called her mama she made a dislike face. He then mentally scolded himself for thinking that the lady infront of him was Geet. Ammy was looking at Sonia (Geet) with his cute innocent eyes and lifted his arms up towards her to pick him up. Geet suddenly lifted him up on her arms and kissed his cheek. Ammy too kissed her back. But Geet said that she is not his mama which made him cry more. She then tried to console him but he was no where to stop. Maan tried to take him but he hugged Sonia (Geet) tightly refusing to go to Maan. Sonia (Geet) then told Maan that she need little time with this little boy which made Maan agree. Sonia (Geet) took him to her cabin and placed him on sofa, she then ordered Sasha to bring juice and Chocolates to her cabin for the little boy. After oredering, she went and sat beside Ammy. She asked his name and other related stuffs which the little boy answered excitingly. Sonia (Geet) asked him to why he was calling her mama and Ammy replied that she is his mama which made Sonia (Geet) angry at first but seeing his face, she agreed. Sasha brought juice and Chocolates for Ammy and; Sonia (Geet) fed him lovingly which made Sasha wonder whether she is hallucinating. Maan saw Ammy on Sonia (Geet) lap and she feeding him food lovingly. He closed his eyes wishing that it was his Geet who was feeding his son but little did he know that it was his Geet itself. After some chitchat, Ammy slept on Sonia's lap, she then handed Ammy to Maan. Maan thanked her and left with his team.
Sonia (Geet) then got a call from Jai asking her to meet
him. Jai asked Sonia (Geet) to go closer to Maan so that he can bring Sam from India. Sonia
(Geet) was hesitant first but Jai's persistence made her agree. Ron was outside
country but daily called her 20-21 times to inquire about her. For Ron it was
difficult to breathe without his Sonz, he loved her to core and for he'll give
his life and also take other's life. Sonz talked to Ron about
Maan's kid calling her "mama" which made him mad first then he shrugged it off.
They talked for hours till she got
another call which was from Ammy. She then told Ron that she'll call him back
at night. She then started to talk to Ammy. Ammy asked her to come to him as he
wanted to see her. She was about to say no but Jai's plan came in her mind
which made her say yes. She called Jai and told him about Ammy's invitation.
Jai told her to go close to Maan through Ammy and also mentioned not to tell
about the plan to Ron. She was hesitant first but Jai made her agree. Geet
drove to Maan's Farmhouse.
Maan's farm house
Geet dress in simple top and skinny jeans drove to Maan's farmhouse. Maan opened the door when h heard the bell ring and was surprised to see Sonia (Geet). She smiled at him and entered his house and asked him about Ammy. Ammy hearing his voice rushed towards her and hugged her. Maan really wanted to stop it but seeing Ammy's face and Sonia's face made him keep quite. Sonia took him to his room and played with him. At night, she suggested to go out and eat dinner to which Ammy agreed. They 3 went out to dinner at a beautiful restaurant which was booked by Sonia. They had great time together.
Slowly Sonia was entering into their lives. She came to Maan's home at evening and leaves at night. But Maan noticed her tiresome face and was concerned about her but she told that it's due to hectic day. Maan and Sonia (Geet) cooked together with Ammy sitting at kitchen counter and enjoying it. It was like a family with husband, wife and kid. Maan noticed Sonia (Geet) talking in mobile each hour. Her face lighted up when she receives the call which made him curious to know about the caller. Sonia never flirted or showed any sign of interest in Maan. She kept distance from him although there were moments of awkwardness. One day due to heavy rain Maan asked Sonia to stay with them at home, she called Jai asked his permission to which Jai gave her permission happily and also told that he'll handle Siya and Neel, his dad and mom.
That night changed Maan. He got doubt on Sonia because of her behaviour because Maan noticed the mole on her nape of neck. It was the same that Geet had. He deliberately poured water in her dress and faked it as accident and gave her a sari for changing. Sonia changed into Sari and came back to them and sat with them again. He dropped his spoon down deliberately and pretending to take it from ground went down the table and through the sari he noticed a black mole on her side of waist which Geet too had. He was again confused seeing these; he then gave her pickle which had vinegar. He knew Geet will have headache and vomiting tendency as she had allergy when she eat any food which had vinegar. Sonia ate little pickle which had vinegar and after sometimes, she started to vomit and had headache. Maan gave medicine and asked her to sleep. He was now confirmed that it is his Geet but to make it sure he called an investigating agency and asked them to find it.
Maan tried to come closer to Sonia but each time she made excuse and escaped the situation. Maan always held her closer to him in pretence of game which made her uncomfortable but due to Jai's plan in her mind she kept quite. Jai made Ron stay at Singapore some more days for executing his plan. Ron hated to stay away from Sonia but had no other way. Maan got result from his investigating officers saying that Sonia Ray is Geet Handa. He was really happy to know that his Geet is alive but now he wanted to know what made Geet act as Sonia Ray. He was confused thinking whether she lost her memory fully or is she pretending. He called his entire family to New York and told them everything. They were really happy and they too wanted to know how and why Geet changed to Sonia Ray. They decided to see her reaction seeing Sam and Rahul Maan called Sonia (Geet) and asked her to come immediately to his place. When she was about to leave but before she goes out Jai came inside and told her about the arrival of Sam and others. He told her plan to enact in front of them.
Maan's Home
Sonia (Geet) rang the bell and Maan opened the door an invited her in. She came inside and sat on sofa, she knew what was coming next and calmed herself for not showing any emotions. Maan told her that his family is there with him and asked her whether she like to meet them, to which she said she want to meet. Maan called everyone and started to introduce them to Sonia (Geet). She said hi to them as if she is seeing them for first time. Then he called Sameera. Sameera seeing her sister's dressing style was shocked but was also happy to see Geet alive. She was about to hug Sonia (Geet) but Sonia (Geet) moved away showing that she hated all these things which made Sameera shock and hurt.
