Kollywood grapevine is abuzz that Sun Pictures has bagged all the rights of 'Rajapattai', Vikram's next that is gearing up for a Christmas release. It is also said that this film might see a release on December 16 itself and not December 23 as speculated earlier.
Sun Pictures is said to have bagged all the rights including theatrical distribution rights of this PVP Cinemas production venture and an official announcement on this front is expected.
The film has Vikram and Deeksha Seth in lead roles. 'Rajapattai' will also mark director Suseenthiran's first ever commercial venture, his earlier offerings being off beat films.
As earlier reported there's a sequence where Vikram dreams of wooing Shriya Saran and Reemma Sen which will be shot in Italy in a couple of weeks. Meanwhile an item number featuring Vikram, Saloni is being canned at the AVM Studios, Chennai. The song will have Vikram in several looks.
The music for 'Rajapattai' has been composed by Yuvan Shankar Raja and this is his first ever Vikram-starrer. The audio launch will take place in the later half of November.
