I think indirectly Shyam is the reason for Khushi to land in ASR company and the story to proceed.

Also because Shyam had hurt Khushi's dad we got to see Khushi depending on Arnav emotionally

Shyam is fighting fate.. trying to go for khushi.. but every time he comes in between khushi walks past him to arnav

Because of Cupid we found out the best "mahurat" for the engagement and enjoyed it😉...because of cupid we had many ArHi moments👍🏼 direct or indirect he does play cupid...and we will soon find out that he is actualy Khushi's lost brother...
