Babuji's illness is confusing?

This is confusing...

  1. Is babuji paralysed neck down?
  2. Is it just facial paralysis?
  3. Is just left side or only right side paralysis?
If it's no. 1 then babuji can never recover, so no one will know about shyam for a long long time perhaps unless kisi ki tubelight jal jati hai

If it's no. 2 then babuji should be able to speak soon, but in this case he can at least write, since it's only facial.

If it's no. 3 then babuji can still try to write?

Also, Khushi is so vocal, she is frank and cannot keep anything inside her heart, she should be shown telling her mother & buaji straight away that she does not want to marry shyam? If she stays quiet on this and says nothing to her family, even though babuji is unwell, it's not a justification to her character. It's fine that CVs need something to twist the story and take it forward, but it shows the creative limits of the CVs...and am sure they can do better than this.

I think that he  has facial paralysis because he is always moving his hand.

CVS should think of something new rather than do the whole shyam khushi marriage thing, and then shyam blaming khushi when everyone finds out.

@Harpreet.M:-- In case of facial paralysis babuji should at least be able to write easily...

The more massive a stroke, the more of the body will be affected. So if his right side is paralysed, he can also have dysarthria and dysphasia (meaning he can't speak), and be unable to write because his right hand is paralysed

strokes can be devastating and affect you similar to this

it is certainly not too unrealistic

@cxw1065:-- Hmmmn...it's certaily not unrealistic and by what u are mentioning above, in that case babuji will never be able to speak or write and we'll have to wait to see some other way of Shyam's truth being unravelled OR as usual in a classic, illogical and unrealistic way the CV's will decide...hey ho let's give some speech power to our babuji...

Thses miracles happen only in thses serials...wish they could happen in real life too...

No-- its not unrealistic that he could get better.  With speech therapy and with physical therapy, he could regain both speech and movement-- the effects of a stroke change and develop over a year.  I have known patients who have completely lost their speech, but have regained it in time.  Same with movement.  it may not be 100%, but it can be much better than now
