Khushi is in her room upset about the fact that none of her family members are talking to her. She cries as she feels alone even her jiji isn't talking to her. Arnav comes into the room on his phone only to see khushi crying. I will call you back Aman, khushi kya baath hain? Kuch bhi nahin arnav ji. Khushi mujhe bato kya hua shyam ni phir si kuch kiya kya? Nahin arnav ji humey apney ghar walo ki bahut yaad araye hain aur woh mujhse baath karne ki liye teyar nahin. Arnav realises how upset khushi is. He slowly walks up to her and wipes her tears away. Khushi sab teekh ho jaye ga tum math raho. He hugs her and she falls asleep on his arms. He realises that he cannot execute his plan to expose shyam in goa just yet as he will have to wait for things to calm down between his di and khushi as he doesn't want to hurt either of them.
Early next morning arnav goes to khushi's house, bua anwers the door, arey babua tum yahan subha subha sub kuch teek hain na? Nahin mujhe aap sab si kuch baath karne hain? Arnav comes in aap sub ney mere biwi koh rulaya woh har waqt aap ki bahrey mein soch thi hain aur aap?? Arnav tells her family everything that happened and why khushi married him and the only reason she didn't tell them was because he said he would pay for her dads operation. Garima, Bua and Payal are all shocked to hear this and cry feeling guilty for hurting khushi when all she has ever wanted was to make them happy. Arnav requests that no one in RM should find out about this to which they agree.
Khushi wakes up to notice that arnav is nowhere, she wonders where he has gone early in the morning. She gets up to have a shower and when she comes downstairs he comes home. Aap kahan gahi thi arnav ji.. mujhe kuch kaam tha is liye mein subha gaya tha. Teek hain aap fresh ho kar ayi hum nashta lagati hain. Di humara honeymoon ka trip abhi cancel karna parey ga kyun ki humarey important meeting hain is haftey isliye honeymoon hum agley haftey jahein gi. Anjali and nani agree with him.
As shyam comes downstairs arnav goes towards khushi who is in the kitchen alone, knowing deep down that shyam will follow him. Arnav sees khushi in the kitchen and he hugs her from behind mere barey mein soch rahein thi khushi. Khushi totally shocked turns around to see arnav being all romantic arnav ji aap kya karahein hain? Kya khushi mein kuch bhi kar sakta hoon mein tumhara pati hoon aur tum mujhe rokh nahin sakti. Arnav holds khushi really tight chorey na arnav ji koyi dekh liga. Shyam witnessing all this is enraged and accidentally knocks a vase which arnav and khushi hears but then he hides. Woh kya tha arnav ji? Mein dekh tha hoon, aur tum jaldi tayar ho humey kahin jana hain. Kahan arnav ji. Har baath batana zaroorey hain kya khushi. Teek hain.
Arnav tells nani and Anjali that he is taking khushi out for dinner and they will be back late. Shyam gets enraged hearing this and decides to follow them. Arnav takes khushi to her house, arey arnav ji aap humey kyun bar bar rulana chatey hain. Humarey ghar waley hum si baath nahin kar na chatey aur aap humey phir yahan le ki aya. Arnav takes khushis hand and tells her not to worry. They go inside and everyone hugs khushi and tell her that they are sorry and they love her. Khushi cries and they explain how arnav came this morning and told them everything. After a while khushi looks for arnav but cant find him. She tells her mom and payal that she must leave. Outside arnav sees akash outside khushis house and asks him what he is doing her. Akash lost for words doesn't know how to tell his brother that he has come to see payal ji.
Akash kya hua. Akash thinks its time to tell arnav everything as if anyone can help him its arnav. Akash tells arnav how he loves payal and wants to marry her but she won't agree because she feels that it will be a problem between families. Arnav tells akash that he will talk to everyone at home including mami as no one can say no to him. Arnav tells akash to leave from there for now as if anyone sees him they will wonder what he is doing here. Shyam in his car watching arnav and akash but has no idea what they are talking about.
Khushi comes out to arnav and thanks him for being there for her. They share a hug and everyone is looking so they let go and get in the car. Shyam realises that he has to do something to find out the reason behind this marriage. He thinks something and then slyly drives back to RM.
Arnav and khushi come back home whilst shyam runs into the kitchen and mixes something into a juice drink telling HP to give it to khushi as nani has sent it for her. Arnav goes to his room and HP comes to give khushi the juice and she says she doesn't want it but HP tells her that nani sent it for her. She drinks the drink and is about to go up when shyam comes up to her. Khushi ji aap teek hain?
Khushi feels really dizzy and holds her head, shyam asks her why she married arnav. Arnav realises that he hasn't taken his tablets and goes back down to get them. Back to shyam and khushi… maine arnav ji si shaadi is liye kit hi… and arnav comes and stops her. Obviously kyun ki tum mujhse pyaar kartey ho pagal. Arnav takes khushi from there and shyam is angry that his plan has failed.
Arnav is so angry at khushi that she nearly told shyam the truth and ruined their plan. Kya kiya tumney khushi! Tum ek kaam teek si nahin kaar saktey khushi! Khushi bursts out laughing kya hain lard governor? Tum har waqt ghussey mein kyun hotey ho? Kabhi muskuraya karo phir dekhna tum kitney sexy lago gey. Arnav is totally shocked on khushi's behaviour and is getting even more angry.
Arnav goes close to khushi when he slips and falls on her and they both land on the bed. He pins her arms down tumhe kya hoga hain khushi! She whispers in his ear mujhe pyaar ho gaya hain. Arnav stops for a minute he can't believe what khushi has just said. Kya ka tumne khushi? Jab aap mere ankhon ki samney hotey hain toh hum bahut khush hotey hain aur jab hum par ghussa hotey hain toh humey rona ata hain? She pulls him closer to him Aap asa kyun kartey hain arnav ji. Arnav and khushi are literally kissing distance and he stops himself and lets go.
Khushi grabs his hand, aj raath mujhe chor kar math jayi arnav ji… arnav turns back and hugs khushi tightly. Arnav slowly kisses her forehead, moving down to her cheek and then they both have an intense liplock. Both are lost in the moment and before things get out of hand arnav lets go as he realises that she isn't in the right frame of mind and wants it to be special for both of them when they sleep together. Khushi disappointed that arnav let her go and both turn around and sleep.
