Hey People!!...I'm a huge Arhi Fan...and after seeing all the
fanfictions i could'nt help writing one...please read atleast
once...comment if u like it and even if u don't...all criticism is
welcome...and if u'r one of those who are shy to comment..atleast hit
the like button..because it's my first time...and a little support will
be really appreciated!!...😊...So here it goes-
Who the hell is
calling me sooo early.I look at the watch.It's 6.Ohkay!!..maybe not that
early but still...anyways i glance at my phone..Oh it's mom!..I pick up
the phone.
"Hey mom...itni early kyun call kiya??"..i ask
sleepily..
"woh..i wanted to tell u i found my future son-in-law"...and
then my chat with mom yesterday evening came back to my mind with a
jolt...when after a lot of coaxing by mom i had finally gave in and
asked her to find me a guy whom she likes...
I groaned in my
sleep"What??..itna jaldi...kal hi toh humne baat ki thi..anyways
who's
the unfortunate guy???"..I asked...
"Aree...u know him very
well...bachpan se"...
"Oh really??...who's it??"..i got curious...
"Guess
karo"...
"I can't...chalo jaldi bata do na ma!!"...
"It's
Arnav"...
"ARNAV!!..as in ARNAV SINGH RAIZADA???"...
"Haan beta..nice choice

"Mumma...nice choice??..Have u gone mad??...u know very well mumma i'm not gonna marry him...even if

the bachpan mein...but now both of u are adults!!!...Grow up,u'r not

each other so well from such a long time...and u know...His parents were the one to bring in
the proposal...we had gone for dinner at their place yesterday and had
told them about your decision to get married finally...and then they had
come up with this great idea of both of u getting married...I have been
dying to tell the news to you"...

"Well u say YES..cause when uncle-aunty will ask him...he'll say 'NO' surely..and Manish uncle(his dad) will not feel bad either ki i

told happily...i could'nt help laughing at her silly excitement and said byee.
Well..u see I'm
Khushi Gupta...actually Dr. Khushi Gupta...i'm a gynaechologist..I'm 28
and happily single..but my mom has been after my single status for
ages..well!!..it's not her fault either..u know this Indian society and
how people are like 28 is soo late for marriage and god knows
what!!..and afterall as we all know...how every mother wants to see her
daughter get married...so
finally I had given in to mom's regular lectures and had asked her to
find me a suitable guy..I had thought that it will take her atleast one
month to find the guy she thinks perfect for me and atleast that would
give me some peace...!!
But now here she was just next morning with the
last guy i wanna marry...well this guy..i mean Arnav..i know him i think from the time we were kids...Actually our dads were school frnds and
were very-very close...well...they still are!!but we hated each other...he loved fighting
with me...and we used to fight like cats and dogs..and i mean
it...u would have known if u had seen one of our fights..phew!!...
Anyways that was a decade ago...actually after our boards he had
been packed off to abroad..I think he had barely managed to pass..and
Manish uncle was really angry with him and had sent him overseas...He
had'nt come to India for 5 years till he had completed his
graduation...After that he had settled in Delhi like me and was handling
Uncle's bussiness down here and was considered one of the most upcoming
enterpreneurs...In schooldays he was always the mischievious kind..not
at all interested in studying..always up with some prank in his
sleeve...irritating people especially me!!...
But Tanmay(our mutual frnd..son of
another of our dad's school frnd...He was Arnav's best frnd in school
and i think still is..He is also my best frnd Aliza's brother and
regards me as his own sister..he was always the one who would seperate
us when we got into one of our infamous fights) had told me that he had
changed alot...He was no more the erratic boy we knew...He had matured
alot and had become a no nonsense kinds...quoting Tanmay-"He had become khadoos"...God knows why this change !!!...
But I had seen his changed attitude
when i had met him a few times at Anjali di's(his sister) marriage..at
Aliza's marriage and a few times more at some family functions
and parties...i had noticed that his eyes...which always had a warm feel in them
had become hard...it felt as if he had woven a rough exterior around
him...eventhough how much i hated him...i still had a strong urge to get the old carefree Arnav
back!!...
It seemed that he only used to let his guard down infront of a
few people he actually loved like Anjali di,Tanmay,Vinayak(same
description as Tanmay,except instead of Aliza's he is my cousin) and Aliza
but not even his own parents..maybe because he considered them wrong
for sending him abroad and seperating him from themselves... i had seen how
uncle-aunty tried hard to get Arnav's attention...but he seriously
never cared...or maybe he did care but he wanted to give them a silent punishment for keeping him soo far from themselves!!!..but still i loathed him for treating his parents like
that...because it was beyond my imagination that how can anyone hurt their parents like that??...
And
plus his parents were real darlings...and they adored me a lot!!..Manish
uncle loved me tonnes and Arnav hated that when we were kids because
uncle always supported me over him and Shobhna aunty-What to say about
her...She is one of those people who truly have a heart of gold..actually they
were the ones who had supported me when mom-dad were in second thoughts
about sending me to a medical school...so i owe them a big one and
that's why i had'nt said a direct No because it would have looked bad!!
I was in the
hospital..when mom called me..It was around 5 in the evening!!...I
picked up the phone excitedly to hear about how Arnav had said no!!..i
smiled gleefully..."Yes mom...so he said no??"...
"Well for once you're
wrong dear!!...HE SAID YESS"...
"WHAT??"...
"Yess darling...he's ready to marry you!!..accha
byee for now...i have to tell everyone the good news about your
marriage and how my daughter has got a gem of a husband finally whom she
deserves"...
I was too dumbfounded too even reply and mom went offline!!...ohkay...sooo...sooo he has said YESS!!...How...how can he??...has
he lost his mind??...We hate each other..right??...then WHY??...Whatever
it is...one thing is clear-I'M NOT GONNA MARRY HIM AND I HAVE TO GET OUT OF THIS MESS REALLY SOON!!
