Ringer Written Update & Video EP 11
It Just Got Normal
The scene opens with Bridget, who is pretending to be Siobhan to everybody, expect her confidante Malcolm, taking off her diamond ring, and gets into the shower. However, the real Siobhan is there, and keeps looking at her from behind. The story move back two days into the past. Andrew and Bridget are at their anniversary dinner, when Greta arrives with her husband. She has Peony flowers for Bridget, which she finds slightly strange, but cannot express anything but that she finds them out of season, favorite, and that Greta must have a hard time looking for them. However Greta would do anything to please Siobhan! Later, when Greta announces her fund raising plans for public schools, one of which is Juliette's, Bridget shows interest. That was unexpected for Greta, but she expresses happiness in her plans. Detective Victor meets Henry at his apartment, when he expresses frustration that the cops are behaving as if the case is closed. They found Bridgette's fingerprints on the gun, and yet they say Charlie Young/John Delario shot himself. Siobhan never knew Charlie, so what could the cops have to do with her? Victor promises to follow up as closely as he can, but he is not revealing information because it has to stay confidential. Victor thinks Bridgette needed money, so she kidnapped her sister's wealthy friend (Gemma), and that's how things proceeded. Henry cannot but sigh. Later, when Andrew and Bridget (whom Andrew thinks is wife Siobhan) are getting ready for bed, she wants to know if he has an opinion about Juliet acting strange off-late. She has been less combative, but Andrew hopes that is a good thing. Before they are in bed, Bridget takes off her ring, which is when Andrew thinks she doesn't like it. But she explains she loves it except for the band – it is too loose, and the ring keeps falling off her finger. Early next morning, the real Siobhan comes in at Andrew's office, telling the security guard with the key she wanted to surprise her husband. However, she cannot get through the password security for the files she needs. Before long, Andrew's secretary comes in, and she, scared like a drenched cat scares the secretary with her wide eyes. However, she manages by telling her to keep it a secret that she saw her, because she was only looking to surprise Andrew. Meanwhile, Bridget is at Andrew's place, from where he is leaving for work, and Juliette is leaving for school. Malcolm calls Birdget and announces he is not taking it forward if doesn't find anything up front. Besides, he has a job interview to attend. However, all Bridget wants is to keep a track on Andrew's computer expert. At Juliet's school, she lets on to her friend that she is not talking about Mr. Carpenter's sexual assault at home. She wants just to forget it and let it go by. Meanwhile, Siobhan calls Tyler from a caf, and apologizes for hanging up when she was in Andrew's office. However, he wants her to find out the files that he has hidden from his investors, so that he can make his exit at the right time. As an Andrew Charles employee, he is not risking it further, and wants Siobhan to know that security on home computers is far weaker than in offices. Siobhan hangs up abruptly yet again, and rushes out of the restaurant when she finds Henry walking down the pavement. He is not interested in her, and lets her know he is busy. However, just before boarding the taxi, he lets on he cares if Siobhan is in danger. They agree to meet at the loft. Meanwhile, Victor is investigating the Delario case, as his colleague wonders about the validity of Bridget's presence in New York at the time of Delario's murder. However, Victor sees that irrelevant after a while, because Delario's death doesn't look like a suicide now. The angle of the shot, and many other factors are just making the police assumptions fall apart. When Andrew hopes he can convince his office team about the growth projections in the next five years, they ask for the next 10. However Andrew is sorry his software man is not present at the moment. That is when Malcolm comes up with his excellent programming skills, and screens up an impressive graph showing the growth will continue. Meanwhile, Greta arrives at the Martins' for taking forward the public school funding program with Bridget. However, when Juliette arrives, Greta leaves without any sign of being ready to leave them alone. When Juliette hears about the invitation arrangements, which includes Mr. Carpenter, she gives Bridget a strange looking, but refuses to come out in the open. Before long, Siobhan's at Andrew's place, where she tries hacking Andrew's computer. She is third time lucky. However, as she transfers the files to her flash drive, Andrew enters, and soon after that enters Siobhan's twin Bridget. Both of them are unaware of the file transfer that is occurring on a completely visible screen, and when Siobhan watches the kiss Bridget and Andrew share, she cannot resist anymore. Meanwhile, Henry is waiting to meet Siobhan, who is already late, and he leaves with all the contempt in the world. It is only a couple of minutes later, that Siobhan finds Bridget in the shower, stares at her, and then runs off with the ring she took off so that it doesn't slip off in the water. When Bridget comes out of the shower, and doesn't find the ring, she thinks it must have slipped into the sink, and calls for a plumber. Later at the fund raising party hosted at the Martins', Andrew hopes Juliette will be dressed, because the guests have already arrived. However, she is only waiting for her dad to leave, so that she can get dressed. Before long, Henry arrives and lays on to Bridget, thinking like all the others, that she is Siobhan. She never had to call him if she was going to ditch him before their meeting. She has let her down, and he would rather not see her anymore. While Bridget finds herself a solitary recluse in the cold balcony, Greta doesn't take long to arrive there. She hopes Henry and Siobhan are not seeing each other anymore. She also lets on how when they did, she could not see Gemma in the eye. She hated Siobhan for that. And her Peony flowers was a way of getting back at Siobhan. It bears reference to the Piovine Hotel that Siobhan chose on that fateful weekend. Before long, Juliette is behaving 'drunk' at the party as she flies off comments at her teacher. Andrew sends her back to her room, after which Bridget arrives to find out what has happened between Juliette and Mr. Carpenter. Moments later, Bridget decks out Carpenter of the party, saying he should never be seen near her stepdaughter anymore. However, when they approach the daughter, she hopes her stepmom never did that – she was ready to forget the sex assault and move on. Meanwhile, Victor is at a restaurant, where the waitress tells him she saw Charlie and Siobhan in May – not September. And Henry is drinking away his frustration, when Siobhan arrives, pretending she was the one at the fund-raising party last night. She knows how much she wronged him, but she loves him.
