Rajbeer at the Air Force Base. He is making a sketch of Preeto,the vision of her turning and looking at him fresh in his eyes. Seeing Dhruv entering he closes his writing pad. Dhruv comes and tells how much he missed Ishu. The days don't seem to pass without seeing her. Then he suggests to Rajbeer that he would go to teach Sonu that day onwards. He can meet Ishu in that manner. Rajbeer quickly denies the idea. So Dhruv says that he is equally good in physics, so whats wrong in it. Rajbeer says that he has promised Sonu and he cannot break the promise. And anyways she would get confused with both of them teaching her. So Dhruv starts teasing him as to who waits for him at the house,that he is so eager to go there. Rajbeer replies a bit too quickly, that why would Preeto wait for him. Dhruv says that he never mentioned her name,then how come he is giving that as a reason. Then he asks him whether he has confessed his feelings to Preeto. Rajbeer asks what does he mean. Dhruv says that Rajbeer loves Preeto. Rajbeer denies.
Dhruv:is there something you don't like about Preeto?
Rajbeer: no.
Dhruv:do you see her everytime you close your eyes?
Rajbeer closes his eyes and immediately he gets a vision of Preeto. He smiles.
Dhruv: and when your eyes is open,do you keeping searching for her?
Rajbeer(absent mindedly) nods.
Dhruv: does your heart beat increase when she is around?
Rajbeer:yes.
Dhruv concludes that Rajbeer is in love. Rajbeer again denies. Dhruv keeps giving him various ideas like flowers, candlelight dinner, movie, date etc. But Rajbeer just avoids him and goes.
Preeto is telling her mother about how the taste of food has changed since they have got the fridge at home. Says that blessed is the man who invented fridge. Suggests Beeji that they should add sharbet to milk and make rose milk when Rajbeer comes. He would like it. Then she stops and thinks to herself, that why she keeps taking Rajbeer's name time and again. Bani enters the house just then and Preeto offers her ice water but she says that she would have it later and goes to her room. As soon as she enters her room, Bani starts crying. She cries out loud that how can she tell her di that she hasn't been to college since 2 days and she is spending her day at park everyday. She doesn't want her family to get any more worried.
Rajbeer on his way to Preeto's house stops by a flower shop. Thinks of taking flowers for Preeto. The vendor says that red roses would be best for his girlfriend as they are the symbol of love.Rajbeer imagines Preeto opening the door to him and him offering her the flowers(total filmy style!!)
Preeto:bahut sundar hai
Rajbeer:tumse zyada nahin.
Preeto blushes. Bani comes to the scene and shouts out loud, "Red flowers!!! Do you even know what does it mean,Preeto di?" and then Beeji comes and shouts at Rajbeer asking him whether he comes to teach Physics to Sonu or love lessons to Preeto.
Rajbeer breaks out of his dream and asks for some other flowers. the vendor gives him yellow roses saying that it means that he likes someone. Rajbeer imagines the same scene again,but this time Sonu and Meeta coming and asking him whether he likes only Preeto and not them.
Rajbeer again asks for some other flowers and finally zeroes in on white roses,the symbol of peace and friendship.
Preeto opens the door. She and Rajbeer have an eye lock. She says that he is very punctual. She sees the flowers. He says that he bought it at the signal from some kid. Beeji sees the flowers and says that she loves white flowers. Masterji used to get her white flowers everyday for a year after their marriage. Meeta interrupts saying that after that she was born and their romance ended. Rajbeer tells Beeji that he bought the flowers for her. She is mighty impressed and drags him inside to feed him roti with extra jaggery.
Rajbeer tells Sonu that today they would learn the 'law of attraction'. All the while looking at Preeto who is by her sewing machine. He explains the law to Sonu and Preeto has eyes only for him. Suddenly there's a power cut and beeji gets a candle saying Preeto is very scared of darkness though she looks brave from outside. Rajbeer and Preeto are lost in each other's eyes with the song 'main tenu samjhava' in the background. The power comes back and they get back to their work. Sonu thanks Rajbeer for teaching her 'law of attraction' in the best way. He thanks her back saying that he learnt a lot in the process of teaching(looks at Preeto). Beeji asks him to stay for dinner but he takes leave. Before leaving he asks the directions of a departmental store . Beeji sends Preeto with him to show him the way.
In the market. Rajbeer thanks him for helping him buy the goods at a reasonable price by bargaining. Preeto says that Ganshyam(the groceror) knows to take advantage of all 'buddhoo' people and she is the only one who can have him under her control. Rajbeer asks Preeto out for coffee. At the coffee shop, both feel awkward seeing couples all around them. Rajbeer orders for both of them and then comments about people being more involved among themselves than their coffee. Preeto too joins him saying him that the younger lot in todays world do not know what love is and are only involved in such time pass. So Rajbeer questions back whether she knows what love is. Asks her what is love. Preeto is caught by her own words.
