When the flame initially went out...who was instrumental in re-lighting the flame again?  La...right...as the match was in her pocket...and there was still darkness...as lights had not come back on.   This means that it will be La who will help join these two by bowing out of the picture.

As for the time, when Khushi blew the flame out...the LIGHTS had already come back on...meaning jo hona hai woh ho chuka hoga...so she blew out the candle...as there was no need of it anymore!!!

I hope this makes sense...

That's a great explanation Nargis.

When I watched that candle scene don't know why I remembered "Mughle Aazam" movie.
Thankyou for your beautiful thoughts.

Thanks Yes, that candle scene was beautiful. I have not seen Mughal e Azam so cant comment on that but it was a well shot scene and  the actors justified it.

Hey, the Candle scene was indeed very beautiful...a very delicate and subtle moment between the two warring protogonists!

Arnav's expression when Khushi's face glows from the light of the candle was just so heartstoppingly awesome!

Yes...Mughal-e-azam had a very similar scene between Dilip Kumar and Madhubala...its considered one of the most romantic scenes from bollywood!

I didn't know that poppy. Maybe I'll have a look at that scene from Mughal-e-Azam if I can find it in youtube.

Oh btw I loved your symbolism.  Do you think that the creative team thinks about all this? Or are we just over analyzing?
