MN House- front room
Uday snoring on the sofa. The girls sitting around and talking
"tho nupur, tum meri dresses try karne kab aaogi?"
"kya dia! Meri tests hain! Uski baad aajaaongi. Tum ho na kuch din."
"haan, main actually soch rahin thi ki main apna zyaada kaam yehi se karoon. Ab sab yahin hain tho..."
"dia, tumse kuch baat poochoon?"dia nodded.
"benji ke baare mein?"dia s face fell.
"agar tum baat karna nahin chahthi tho teek hain." gunjan
dia was quiet. Nupur exchanged a glance with gunjan and said," dia, baat karne se mann ko achha lagtha hain! Mujhse poochon! jab tak main apne us bure waqt ke baare mein baath nahin ki tab tak aisa lagtha tha ki kuch badaa sa bhoj hain dil pe par ab nahin...bohot halka halka sa lagtha hain..." and smiled. Dia smiled back.
"kuch extraa story nahin hain nupur . Bas shayad hum dono ke liye yahin teek tha ki hum break up kare."
"but tum abhi uske saath contact rakhthi ho na?"
"of course. Wo dodo ke saath hain tho main bhi usse milthi rehthi hoon."
"par kyun dia? Matlab abhi bhi dikhtha hain ki tum usko miss karthi ho"
"pata nahin nupur.. maybe jab hum couple bane tab itna kuch hogaya humsab ke saath ki ...humne apne aap ke liye proper time nahin diya. Aur phir wahin aadat padgayi. Jab break up hua tab mujhe yaad hain ki hum dono ke dimaakh mein sirf uday ki thoughts thi. In fact jab se alag hue hain tab se jagda kam karthe hain."
Nupur and gunjan were quiet.
"but its okay now. Itne din tak main iske baare mein kisise share nahin karsakthi thi ab tum dono ho tho...you know, maine sab se zyaada benji ko ek dost ke tarah miss kiya hain but..."
"sorry dia. Main itni kho gayi thi apne hi dard mein ki.." gunjan
"i know gunjan but its okay. Maine bhi tumse sammy ..."
"nahin dia. Tumne baat karne ki koshish ki thi...maine tumhe mauka nahin dia bas yahin laga mujhe ki tum uski support karrahin ho. Aur tumse kam bolne lagi."
"yeh sab meri ek galthi ki wajah se hain , haina? Nahin main dhruv ke saath...tho tum sab- tum aur samrat aur dia and benji sab saath reh sakthe the."
"nahin" " no"
"hum sab apne actions ke liye khudh responsible hain nupur. Mere aur benji ke relationship ko mauka dene ka kaam hamara tha . Tum guilty feel mat karo."
"haan di. Maine samrat ko bina wajah door kiya tho ismein tumhaari koi galathi nahin hain."
Uday turned and almost fell from the sofa . They moved instinctively towards him and adjusted him back on the sofa. Once done, all three of them looked at each other for and smiled together, knowing fully well they had again got back what was mising from all their lives the past few years. Togetherness.
"chodo yeh sab. Tum bolo, kab try karogi dresses?"
"agale hafthe? Mere tests khatam hojaayenge!"
"done" and grinned.
Uday got up suddenly and said," nupur tum mujhe icecream dene waali thi na! Bhool gayi kya?"
the girls grinned at him affectionately and nupur saying abhi aayi went to the kitchen.

MN house – kitchenmayank cleaning up, samrat standing near him thoughtful.
"kya soch rahe ho?"no answer
"jo dia ne kahaan uske baare mein?"
"haan
mayank. Mujhe khayal hi nahin rahaan ki main apne itne achhe friends
ko itna ignore kar rahaan tha. Wo teek keh rahin thi. Main jaantha
tak nahin ki benji kahaan hain! Kya kar rahaan hain! Kaisa hain!
Maine kabhi yeh bhi jaan ne ki koshish nahin ki ki dia aur benji ka
break up hua kyun. Kitna selfish hoon na main! Aur unlogone ne mera
saath kabhi nahin choda hain. Aur aaj tak mujhe tho ehsaas nahin tha
ki maine kuch galathi ki hain." samrat spoke in one breath himself realising everything as he spoke.
"kyunki tumne galthi jaan boojke nahin ki hain samrat. Meri tarah knowingly tumne kisiko door nahin kiya. Bas circumstances ke wajah se ... Tumhe apne gham mein aur kisiko involve nahin karna chahthe the. Tumhe laga ki accident ki sazaa tumhe milna chahiye . Nahin samrat, tum bilkul bhi selfish nahin ho."
"whatever mayank. Ab main kya karoon? Ignore tho maine usse kiya hain "
mayank smiled," utna nahin jitna maine tumhe blame kiya tha. Phir bhi aaj dekho ... " and placed a hand on his shoulder, " dia aur benji se baath karo bas."
samrat nodded and added," ek incident ne kitne logon ki zindagi badal di na?!" mayank smiled in agreement and samrat walked out just at the time that nupur walked in.

Mayank still in the kitchen, he screamed.
"nupur..."
"kya hain?" nupur came in hurriedly
"icecream kahaan rakha tumne ?"
"yahin tho hain.good uday bhaiyya ko chahiye tha. " she took it out of the freezer and started to take it out.
"yeh maine banaya hain. Mujhse pehle tum uday ko nahin de sakthi."
"kya hain mayank . Tum tho hamesha yahin rehthe ho. Uday bhaiyya itne din baad ..." and stopped catching his completely im angry look. He snatched it from her hand.
" arre mayank, mujhe do main...main sab ko.."
"haath mat lagana. Jaake baith jao. Chup chaap."
"mayank tum school mein teacher ho ya college mein professor?" he didnt give her the bowl.
"mayank..." nupur using her soft tone
"tum mujhse pehle sorry bolo"
"kis liye?"
"bohot saare baaton ke liye but pehle pehle tho maa ke saath mujhpe hasne ke liye. Main abhi bhi gussa hoon us baat ko lekar aur phir ab...apne bhai ke saath partiality karne ke liye."
" mayank!!! tum bhi kabhi kabhi...achha teek hain sorry." she gave up and tried to take the bowl again.
"aise nahin teek se."
"baad mein bolthi hoon , abhi sab hain."
"jab hasne ka time hota hain tab sab nahin hote ? i dont know. Agar tumhaare bhai ke liye icecream chahiye tho sorry bolo correct style mein."
And unable to resist , she quickly kissed him on his cheek whispering," mayu(in shilpa s tone), tum gusse mein bohot...achhe lagthe ho." and his face broke into a foolish smile but remembering he had to be angry with her, he pushed her but Nupur took the bowl from him and quickly ran out saying, tum cups lao na please.
He kept grinning foolishly as he picked the cups and went out.

hello, im really sorry about irregular updates. generally busy- i did think of stopping it but then ive a few more things to complete so...couldnt. but updates are irregular.thanks alot for all the encouragement.
