I think before settling down, one should explore the idea of having a relationships with the ppl you really like/have feelings for. Even if you don't actually date them, but just by being their friends, knowing their likes/dislikes, habits, you can analyze your compatibility. So, knowing them proves to be an advantage. However, even in arrange marriages, parents nowadays are more lenient and allow the guy and girl to get to know each other first.

Caro...if you've known him a while, some fun activity will do the trick! Are you the adventurous/outdoorsy sort?
