Salman Khan slapped with fine, was smoking in public

a loBollywood star Salman Khan has once again managed to find trouble. Salman who is in Punjab for the shooting of his film "Bodyguard", is penalised for smoking in public place at a hotel. He got Challan from the authorities after his picture was published in cal daily.

Coincidentally on the day of World No Tobacco Day the Patiala district administration issued a notice (Challan) to Salman Khan. The official says, "We have issued Challan on the basis of a photograph, showing Salman smoking at a public place in a hotel, published in a newspaper on Saturday. We have also issued a warning to the hotel authorities."

 

In Punjab, smoking is a punishable offence, rather it is strange but you won't find your usual 'Pan walas' anywhere in Punjab, and such a silly act by a superstar hasn't really gone down well the management, now Salman or his representatives will have to appear in front of a district magistrate, post which the penalty amount will be decided.
