Kareena Kapoor's dilemma - Shahrukh Khan or Salman Khan!

Kareena Kapoor is one of the rare B-town celebrities who can manage a sound relationship with both the Khans - Shahrukh Khan and Salman Khan simultaneously. When Shahrukh recently came to Delhi to promote his film Ra.One, Kareena was missing from the event. The reason? Well, she is currently shooting for her upcoming movie Bodyguard with the Dabangg Khan - Salman.

If the buzz is to be believed, Kareena was mighty upset about the fact that she could not join Shahrukh in Delhi. Another buzz is that King Khan is waiting for Kareena Kapoor to join him for the promotions, so that he can officially launch the much awaited item song - Wanna Be My Chammak Challo. But Shahrukh understands that the shooting of Bodyguard cannot be left in between. Apparently, Kareena has already spoken to Shahrukh about the time management problem and has decided that as soon as the shooting of Bodyguard completes, she will make sure that she remains available for the long tour promotion campaign of Ra.One, planned by Shahrukh.

Confirming the news, Kareena's spokesperson is quoted as saying: "She'll be joining Shahrukh soon for the promotions and that will happen as soon as she finishes the schedule of Bodyguard. She's quite excited with the way the film has turned out."

Well, Kareena, you truly are one lucky lady! On one hand, you have Salman Khan as your Bodyguard and on the other hand, Shahrukh Khan is your life saviour as G.One! Great going!

Salman Khan set to make a 'big' point?

Actor Salman Khan, who is more known for his pangas off-screen, seems to be in the mood to take on the world. A fact that came to light when the team working for his just-released film apparently refused some big productions a promo slot. And one of them was superstar Amitabh Bachchan's soon-to-release Buddha Hoga Tera Baap being produced by son Abhishek Bachchan, who is married toSalman's former flame, Aishwarya Rai. Get the connection?

Now, well-placed sources in the industry say that Salman's increased affinity to the upcoming IIFA awards, to be held in Toronto this year, may have something to do with the Bachchan's no longer being the face of the event. "Big B was the official face of the event. His family religiously attended the event because of him and they would kind of play hosts to most actors attending the event. From the time Aishwarya came into the picture, it was obvious that stars like Salman would not be comfortable lending equal support to the function," says the source.

But hey, that was only till last year, when Big B and the event parted ways. Little wonder then, Salman was the highlight of the event at the ceremony held in Sri Lanka last year. "The entire Bachchan parivaar was absent for the event. Salman stepped in and his popularity and star power saved the day for the awards show," reminisces the source.

This year, the event chose Salman to announce the function a few days back. Coincidence? "It's hard to say. Some say that this is the best way for Salman to show everyone that he's in top form. After all, his star status has catapulted to great heights post Dabangg," explains the source.

Quiz Sabbas Joseph, director of the event managment that organises the awards show, if Sallu is indeed trying to replace the Bachchan's and he says, "Salman has attended several of our events in the past and our working relationship with him has been very strong. There is no strategy here." Ask him about the buzz that Salman is being considered as the next face of the event and he says, "Everyone, right from Abhishek Bachchan, Aishwarya Rai, Preity Zinta or Salman Khan is the face of the event. As for the storyline, there is Prem (Salman), the eternal bachelor falling hook, line and sinker for Sanjana (Asin), who masquerades as Pooja (a potential match for Prem expected to fly in from America) and stays awhile with his joint and ideal family of his father and two chachas (Mahesh Manjrekar, Manoj Pahwa and Manoj Joshi) The brothers, who are worth Rs 500 crore, are united through thick and thin.

Box Office: Salman Khan's Ready sees 3rd biggest opening week ever MUMBAI: Salman Khan's Ready has become the third biggest opening film in terms of net collections in India.

The movie now stands behind Dabangg and 3 Idiots with net collections of approximately Rs 680 million (Rs 68 crore). While Dabangg's first week net collections were Rs 810 million (Rs 81 crore), 3 Idiots' net collections stood at Rs 800 million (Rs 80 crore).

Directed by Anees Bazmi, Ready stars Salman Khan and Asin in the lead.

Actress turned homemaker Karisma Kapoor is looking her best these days as sources reveals that she's been meeting a lot of producers and directors of late.

It was reported sometime back the Karisma, who left her filmi career after her marriage to Delhi-based businessman Sanjay Kapur in 2003 is keen to make her comeback on the silver screen. Reports were also there all was not so well in Karisma and Sanjay's married life and thus, she was looking forward to make her second inning in Bollywood.

Recently, a source informed that the Karisma has been offered a project though the details are still awaited. Buzz is there that the project will either have Akshay Kumar or Salman Khan as the male lead in it.
