M&G... Lambi Judaai... Part 10
Geet woke up and stretched her arms. She looked around the tent for Annie but she couldn't find her. She was still wondering what was special about today however what happened yesterday with Maan was still playing on her mind.
Maan: Yeah, that's a great idea. She will love it, thanks Annie
Annie: But we will have to keep it a secret otherwise she will find out
Maan: I know I will go and call the guys and tell them to get up as there is going to be a lot to organise
Annie: Yeah, I'll go and let Pinky know, hopefully Geet is still asleep
Just then she heard footsteps and realised it was Geet.
Annie: Maan bhai, app jaaiye Geet aa rahi hai
Maan: See you later
Geet: Annie, tum itni early kyun uth gaye
Annie: I was feeling hot and needed some fresh air
Geet: Who were you talking to? I could hear someone else speaking
Annie: Umm no one
Geet: Ohh okay, anyway I had an idea, why don't we go to the gift shop because it is our last day we should enjoy it. There is the disco in the evening as well, that should be fun.
Annie: Umm... okay, let me go and wake Pinky then I'll meet you here after.
Annie quickly ran off before Geet could say anything else.
Geet was confused at Annie's behaviour. She seemed to be acting really strange and weird.
Geet (self-thought): What has happened to Annie? She seems to be acting odd, maybe she isn't feeling well.
In the mean time, Annie ran to the tent to wake up Pinky
Annie: God that was close, Geet was asking so many questions
Pinky: What's going on?
Annie: Pinky, thank god you're awake. Hurry up and get ready we have so much to do.
Pinky: What for? What's happening?
Annie whispered in Pinky's ear the plan she had come up with.
Pinky: That's a great idea, but isn't she going to find out?
Annie: That's why you need to get ready and go to the gift shop with her
Pinky: But, what about you?
Annie: I will pretend I'm ill and stay here and get everything ready
Pinky: Okay, mujhe lagta hai who aa rahi hai
Just then Geet walked in.
Geet: Annie, tum abhi tak tayaar kyun nahi hui
Annie pretended to sneeze and cough.
Annie: Geet, I don't feel very well, tum Pinky ke saath jao main yahaan araam karti hoon
Geet: Teekh hai tum araam karo yaad hai na aaj raat ko disco hai
Annie: Haan haan tum fikar mat karo
Pinky: Come on Geet, let's go
They began walking out of the tent. Pinky turned round and winked at Annie.
Meanwhile, Maan was busy organising things with his friends.
Maan: Listen guys, everything has to be perfect. I need to make it up to Geet after what happened yesterday. Annie should be here soon
Just then, Annie walked in.
Annie: Wow bhai, this is starting to look good. Geet is going to love this
Maan: Annie, where have you been?
Annie: Sorry bhai, Geet was asking so many questions. I had to say I was ill and send her to the gift shop with Pinky.
Maan: Ohh okay, anyways I need to you to get everything prepared as I'm going to the gift shop, I need to get some things
Annie: Okay, see you later
Maan made his way to the gift shop. On the way there, he saw Geet and Pinky.
Maan: Hi Geet
Geet ignored him and walked faster with Pinky.
Geet: Uff, who apne aap o samajhta kya hai aise behave kar raha jaise kal kuch hua hi nai, usse agar lagta hai ke main usse itni aasani se maaf kar doongi toh who bohot galat soch raha hai.
Pinky just silently listened to Geet complaining about Maan. She couldn't say anything as she knew what was happening back at the camp. Geet was annoyed that she wasn't replying.
Geet: Pinky, are you okay?
Pinky: Yeah, Geet I'm fine, why?
Geet: You seem to be really quiet today
Pinky: Ohh I'm just tired that's all
Geet: Okay, come on let's go and look at the gifts they have. Then we have to get back and get ready for the disco
In the mean time, Maan had arrived back at the camp
Annie: Bhai, that was quick
Maan: I know, I only needed a few things and I had to make sure you were doing everything properly
Annie: Of course we are bhai, don't you trust me
Maan: Of course I do, but I need everything to be just how Geet will like it
Annie: Trust me bhai, when Geet sees this she is going to be amazed. She will love it
Maan: Mujhe tum par pura bharosa hai
Maan came forward and gave her a sweet side hug. All the preparations were going in full swing; everything was going perfect until Geet arrived back at the camp.
Maan: Annie, tum jaldi se Geet ko rook kahin who iss taraf na aajaye aur hamare plans par paani phir jaaye
Annie: Ok bhai
Annie walked quickly towards and diverted her attention making sure she didn't go in the direction where the plan was going on
Geet: Arre Annie, ab kaisi ho, are you feeling any better
Annie: Haan a little better
Geet: Chalo acha hai varna tuma agar party mein nahi aati toh main bohot bored ho jaati
Annie: Haan, lekin tum fikar mat karo aaj sham ko bohot maza aane wala hai
Geet: Yeah I hope so, waise toh mujhe disco and all pasand nahi hai but I have a feeling this one will be fun
Annie: It will trust me
Geet was still wondering why Annie was acting as if she was hiding something and she had to find out and she still wanted to know what was so special about today.
Geet: Waise Annie tum raat ko kuch keh rahi thi ke aaj kuch special day hai, what is it today?
Annie: Woh' umm' aaj
To Annie's luck her phone rang and she was saved from all the questions Geet shot her with.
Annie: Hello
Maan: Tumne Geet ko distract toh kardiya na
Annie didn't know how to reply to Maan as Geet was standing right in front of her with questioning eyes.
Annie had to think fast, so she pretended that there wasn't any signal
Annie: Hello.. hello
Then says to Geet: Lagta hai yahan signal nahi hai main wahan try karti hoon, tum tent main jao main wahan aati so I can see what stuff you brought
Geet: Teekh hai jaldi aana
As soon as Geet left, Annie sighed in relief and quickly replied to Maan
Annie: Haan bhai, woh actually Geet mere saath thi so I couldn't talk
Maan: Oh ok, maine tumme isliye phone kiya kyunki saari tyaari hogaye hain, bus we're just adding the finishing touches.
Annie: Teekh hai bhai, waise aage kya karna hai
Maan: Just make sure Geet yahaan na aaye jab tak main na kahoon
Annie: Okay lekin aap nahi jaante mere liye ab chupana bara mushkil ho raha hai
Maan: Just a few more hours, you'll have to manage please
Annie: Ok ok anyways main phone rakhti hoon Geet must be waiting for me
Maan: Ok bye
Annie hung up the phone and made her way over to their tent where Geet lost thinking about something, Annie knew she must be very confused about her behaviour but she was sure Geet would love the surprise.
Geet: Arre Annie tu kahan thi itne der tak
Annie: Sorry, acha toh dekha kya kya laaye ho
Geet started showing the gifts she bought for everyone, for her mom she got a really beautiful silver heart locket necklace.
Geet: It's okay I knew you would like it
Pinky: Come on let's start getting ready for the disco
The girls began getting ready and within a few hours they were all finally ready. Just then Annie got a text from Maan, telling her to come and make Pinky come with Geet in 5 minutes. Annie winked at Pinky and she understood.
Annie: I'm just going to get some water, I'll meet you there
Geet: Okay
Geet was really confused at her behaviour and decided to ask her what was wrong when they got to the disco.
Geet: Pinky, don't you think Annie is acting odd
Pinky: No, she just isn't that well
Geet: I suppose, but even you are acting weird. What is going on?
Pinky: Umm... nothing. Come on let's go
They began making their way to the hall, when Geet noticed something.
Geet: Where is everyone, it's awfully quiet
Pinky: They are probably all already there
Just then Annie pulled Pinky and Geet wondered where she had gone.
Geet: Pinky? Where are you? Why is it so dark in here?
She looked around for the light switches but then suddenly all the lights came on and everyone shouted:
HAPPY BIRTHDAY GEET!!!!!!!!!!!!!
