The gang set off in pairs
Annie: Uff main kahan phas gaye
Arjun: Arre yaar mujhse tumhara kya problem hai
Annie: I don't know, bus hai
Arjun: Whatever
Pinky: Tum mind toh nahi karte na kai maine tumse binaa puche mere saath phasa diya
Pinky truly felt sorry for the guy, and to be honest he wasn't that bad
Adi: Nnoo, mmaain mmind kyun kkaroonga
Pinky: That's ok then
Maan: Waise acha acting karleti ho
Geet: Woh toh hai, Geet pretended she had collars and showed attitude
Maan: Bus bus itna nautanki karne ki koi zururat nahi hai
Maan and Geet were walking up the mountain talking and laughing. For the first time Maan was enjoying himself, he didn't know that trekking could be this fun. On the other hand Geet was thinking the same, she never knew that there would be one day where she and Maan would be having fun together, and it was pretty surprising to both of them.
Geet was walking behind Maan as she wasn't very experienced in trekking and Maan was much better at it so he was leading. Geet was laughing when her foot slipped and she shouted Maan. She was so close to falling when a strong hand grabbed on to her hand and pulled her toward him.
(Mahi in the background, yeah we know they are a bit young, but this would be the perfect time for Mahi to play lol 😉😛)
Geet had her eyes closed in fear, she was expecting to have a great pain because of the fall, and instead she seemed to be absolutely fine. She opened her eyes slowly, only to find a very worried Maan. Everything was going fine up to the point when Maan heard his name, he turned back so quickly as if it was a reflex action he grabbed onto Geet's wrist, when she opened her eyes she had fear in them, which soon vanished when she looked at Maan.
Maan (worried): Tum theekh ho na, tumme aaj kuch ho jaata toh main apne aap ko kabhi maaf nahi karta
Before Geet could comprehend what Maan was saying, Maan got her into a big bear hug. At first Geet was surprised by Maan's strange reaction, but then she realized that anyone would get this worried even a stranger, but this was no stranger. Geet had already seen how protective Maan was when it came to her and Annie, so getting this kind of reaction was probably expected.
Maan couldn't help but bring Geet into his embrace, it was more like a protective hug as if to say I won't let anything happen to you. Even Maan didn't know why he would get so panicked seeing Geet in any kind of trouble. He would always overlook it thinking he had known her from the day she was born, they were literally brought up in the same house, so he didn't think anything was wrong with this kind of behaviour, it was his responsibility.
Maan: Tum ab mere ankhon kai samne rahogi, I don't want to take any risk
Geet looked at him in awe, there was so much care and concern in his voice, she had never seen anyone this concerned towards her especially no boy, but for some reason she liked it, she felt special.
Maan: Geet, are you ok? Tum jawab kyun nahi derahi?
Geet: Huh' nahin main teekh tum fiqar mat karo
Maan: Fiqar kaise na karoon' Geet you could have di'
Maan felt scared even saying the word 'died', he was still in shock, if anything had happened to her how would he show his face to anyone, especially Rano, and Mohinder, Geet was the apple of their eye.
Geet: Maan ,jab tak tum ho mere saath mujhe wishwas hai ki mujhe kuch nahi ho sakta.
That line spoken from Geet's mouth touched Maan's heart, there was so much trust filled in those words. He had to make sure to never break that trust. And from that point he promised himself that until he was alive he wouldn't let anything or anyone harm Geet.
Maan: Itna bharosa hai mujh pe?
Geet: Haan, of course and anyways from now on you're my saviour.
Maan smiles seeing such innocence. Geet looks at Maan with admiration.
Maan: Ab chalo mere aage chalo gi tum
Geet: Hmm
As Geet and Maan reached the top everyone huddled round Geet asking if she was ok, they had all seen what happened and were relieved that nothing happened to her.
Annie: Bhai agar aaj aap nahi hote toh pata nahi kya ho jaata
Arjun: Haan yaar sachme tu toh bara hero niklaa. Tune hamari princess ko bacha liya
Maan: Ab aap log baatein hi karte rahoge ya phir kuch kha lein
Pinky: Haan, mujhe toh na bohot bhuk lagi hai
Annie: Mujhe bhi
Geet: Toh chalo kuch kahte hain
Everyone walks towards the caf which was located at the top of the mountain. The caf was small but the view was great, you could see the whole city form up there
Geet: Wow look at this amazing view. Kitna khooburat hai
Annie: I know, its looks beautiful
Maan was still looking at Geet to make sure she was ok, Geet noticed that she knew Maan was quite startled after the incident and she was getting worried for him how could she tell him she was fine.
Geet got up to go to the wash room, and Maan got up as well as if trying to follow her. Geet couldn't help but smile at the concern Maan had for her.
Maan: Kaha jaa rahi ho tum. Chalo main bhi chalta hoon tumhare saath
Geet: Kya tum chaloge mere saath? Geet tried to hold in laugh as much as possible, Maan was so crazy she thought.
Maan: Haan main chalta hoon na tumhare saath
Geet: Matlab tum girls kai wash room mein aaoge, chi chi sharam karo Maan kitne gandhe ho tum
Saying this everyone including Geet burst out laughing; Maan was not amused so he walked off in anger. Maan hated it when someone laughed at him, he found it quite insulting.
Geet and the others stopped seeing such reaction from him, they all knew that Maan was being very careful about Geet after that incident.
Geet: Guys, I think kuch zyada hogaya hai, humme aisa nahi hasna chaaye tha
Annie: Haan, tum log jaante hona Maan bhai ko unse aise cheeze bardasht nahi hote
Geet: Tum log fiqar mat karo, meri wajah se who naaraz hua hai na, toh manaongi bhi main.
Geet was feeling really bad about laughing at Maan knowing he was doing all this because he was worried about her. Geet came close to Maan and tapped his shoulder, but he shrugged it off angrily.
Maan: Dekho Geet mujhe tang mat karo, phele se bohot mazaak kar chuki ho
Geet: Maan, main toh ainvayi taang kheech rahi thi. Mujhe tumme hurt karne ka irrada nahi tha.
Maan: Look Geet main koi baat nahi karna chatah
Geet: Tumme baat karni paregi
Maan turned around in frustration and pinned Geet to the wall
Maan: Jab main keh raha hoon kai mujhe baat nahi karni tumse toh kyun nahi samajh ti tum' oh im sorry tumme toh meri koi baath nahi samajh aati
Geet was startled by this behaviour of Maan, Maan had never got physically angry at her, but she knew this time it was her fault and she had make it up
Geet slowly brought her hands to her ear and made a sorry face.
Geet: I'm really sorry, kya mera yeh saviour mujhe nahi maaf karega
Maan couldn't help it, he gave in to her plea, Geet had something within her that always made Maan's anger melt. Maan started to loosen his grip on her and backed away.
Maan:Theekh hai theekh hai phirse apni nautanki mat shuru karo.
Geet (happy): Matlab tumne mujhe maaf kiya?
Maan (rolling his eyes): Haan
Geet started jumping in joy, whilst Maan stood there watching her silly antics.
Maan: Ok ok ab bus karo, aur waise bhi humme ab wapas neeche jaana chaayiye
Geet: Haan varna, ma'am bohot daante gi
Geet, Maan and the others started to go back down the mountain, this time Maan made sure Geet was by his side all the time, he couldn't risk it this time, though Geet wanted to walk with her friends Maan was persistent.
Geet: Uff ho Maan iss baar main sambhal kai chaloongi na
Maan: No Geet, I'm not taking any risks
Geet: Ufff
Maan smirked feeling proud of the victory.
By the time everyone got back to the camp it was getting dark, so all the boys went to get logs and sticks to put up a camp fire.
Every one sat near the fire eating dinner, after eating dinner everyone got into their own groups. Geet and Maan's group thought of playing a game. Someone said antakshari but then someone said something else but no-one was agreeing on anything.
Geet: Eik minute, why don't we play truth or dare, bohot maza aayega
Annie: Haan yeh acha idea hai
Pinky: Haan chalo chalo it'll be fun
Arjun: Yeah, Maan we haven't played that in ages, dekte hai in larkiyon mein kitni himmat hai
Maan: Haan yaar, waise mujhe toh pata hai kai larkiyan toh truth hi chunne gi
Maan and Arjun clapped hands together laughing, which irritated Geet she would definitely teach these boys a lesson.
Geet: Oi hello, hum larkiyon mein tum larkon se zyaada himmat hain, kyun girls
Annie & Pinky: Haan
Maan: Hmm... dekh lengein
The game began. Geet spun the bottle that was in the middle. The bottle landed on Pinky first, Pinky was not much of a dare devil so she chose truth which to be honest brought shame to the girls there.
Geet: Kya Pinky tumne toh hum larkiyon ki naak katvaa di
Maan: Kyun kya hua, kahan gai tum larkiyon ki himmat.
Geet: Yeh toh sirf eik larki hai, main aur Annie nahi darthe
Annie: Haan, aap log dekh lena, hum toh peeche nahin hatenge
Arjun: Anyways abhi Pinky ka sawaal phoochte hain
Geet: Main phoocho, acha toh bata Pinky kai tumhare aur adi kai beech kya cla raha hai, itni sympathy hyun' huh??
Pinky: Kya?
Adi looked shocked and surprised. He quickly blurted out something before Pinky could answer.
Adi: Kkkuccchhh bbbiii naahhhii. Bus hum dono dost he.
Pinky: Haan, sirf dost
Annie: Ohh that's cool, we believe you. She secretly winks at Geet and she giggles.
Arjun: Let's spin the bottle again
Arjun spun the bottle and everyone watched it carefully hoping it wouldn't land on them. It landed on Geet.
Annie: Yay, Geet
Maan: So, truth or dare?
Geet: I choose dare
