Okay, today's episode was much better compared to yesterday's as the story moved . No filler scene. Piya in the jungle, Kabir-Piya's convo and Kabir-Misha's interaction were my fave portions 'coz they gave an insight into what has been bothering Piya's mind since past one year and how Kabir's character has evolved and fleshed out.
But before I kick off, I understand all the wait for Abhay to show up but why such long wait to see T? I was expecting her in today's episode and what we got were Kabir's shy lovey-dovey shy grins and smiles. Awww''sho shweet na? GRRR!
Anyway, looking at today's episode , it seems Piya's pull towards Abhay has already started gaining momentum . She was thinking about the 'hollow' inside her all along these 12 months as we gauged from Misha's cribbing . However , now that hollow is beginning to dig its teeth into her soul ' consuming her, stirring her up, shaking her and almost pushing her to just get out of the doll house and find her missing heart. I mean, she was happy today ' surrounded by family, friends, re discovering the world that she has forgotten ' all was perfect. But that constant pining and yearning inside her knew no rest. It almost wanted to burst out of her body. Inspite of having such a friendly , warm and sweet convo with Kabir which had only lovable friendship and no awkwardness, that 'something' inside her told her to get up and get out of there. Piya feels it inside her but the intensity of her vacuum is only getting to her now. Leaving all the lights and laughter , she holds Abhay's last memory in her hands ' and she looks up at the moon . She says that when everything is so fabulous around her , what is this hollowness inside her? Why does she feel that someone '.someone special is missing here. Someone who should have been here , with her , this moment. She knows that somewhere deep inside her, the answers are there. She stresses her mind again ' and again- trying to recall what is eating her up alive inside. And she thinks she saw a whirring image of 'someone' , but her efforts are still unable to break through Abhay's wall that has suffocated her memory.
It is strange , right? The creatives have used nature as an instrument ' as a force of destiny that is overriding Abhay's decision and his exit from Piya's life. The wind, the trees , the basic attractive forces of nature are pulling Piya towards the answers that she is seeking. Its not Abhay who is telling her to come and find him , seek him, recall that she was truly in love with him . No. That was not the thought Abhay went to sleep with. Its nature , its providence that is pushing Piya with full force to her destination. I mean, the whole essence of the scarf scene was marvelous , even though I won't say the same about the construction of the scene. Piya touching the cold ground instead of picking up her scarf ' feeling a connection ' and the magnetism and weight of the atmosphere being so intense even though Abhay is just a cold body right now 'the pressure of the connection and partially Metz' spell on Abhay making her faint was great. I am not sure if the writers had this in mind or know it but when a supernatural binds someone in a spell or curse in a specific place , the energy of that spot is so high that human-beings cannot take it. They collapse.
Piya's coming back to her senses and her almost hysteric and anxious response to the pull of the woods was both touching and scary. She thinks she is hearing him , she feels that she should go running back to the jungle ''imagine. Right now, everything is just a puzzle to her and she is only reacting to what she thinks and feels. What will happen when she comes to know of her past with Abhay and how he left her with no one knowing where he is. She is actually going to go berserk and why do I feel that even though her family and friends love her with her life , they won't be able to handle her. I think they know it and that is why they are scared.
Kabir . Awww''.he really has changed a lot, hasn't he? His love for Piya is pristine and kept in a corner of his heart as a memory he wants to feel good about. He has evolved , he has moved on , and judging by his expressions to Misha regarding the new girl in his life , you can say that he is definitely hoping for a future with her and wants to make it work. Yeah, the girl is T. And Kabir must have seen a sea change in her to be able to love her. I don't know the future of KaT but they are gonna be fun to watch , especially if T is a layered character . That is what drama is all about. Piya and Kabir can talk like besties , laugh off their past and respect each-other. I think that is quite an achievement for exes. Misha and Kabir? I don't recall much because they had me in splits.
And who is the mystery savior of Piya? Abhay? Umm.. err'huh? The new wolf in town? Aha, now that is a possibility. Wink, wink, wink.
Precap: Piya is looking good and why do I think her detective giri is back? In the jungles, already? '.and that VM message of Abhay when Piya ended up dialing his number instead of Misha's because it is running in her subconscious mind was torrid. Almost like a message from the other world for her that she should stop looking for him and its no use waiting for him. Who knows where Abhay's phone is'or where he is' but Piya's own mind told her who she is looking for'..Abhay.
P.S - Didn't Kabir's disbelief echo the audience's thought - " I can't believe this . Has Piya really forgotten Abhay?
