Laziness is an Art and the best at this are my cats.
They take their own sweet time and watch the world go by.
But then cats are psychic and hopefully it is the same with you too.😆
Parents are fond of nagging n scolding, when I was young I would disagree with everything first. But then I always took it upon myself to study on my own and do what was necessary.Edited by Summer3 - 12 years ago

See, now when people are bickering around with you and you lend them your ears, of course you are working rather you are being subjected to exploitation. Laziness and soundness of our healths are not companions, to be sure which is why we do need to move our butts. But like I said, even when we are lazying around, we are still working! 😳 

Good n bad is subjective.
There can be action in inaction.

You are most definitely not the only one to be told that all the time! *sighs*

To do things that you really need to do, just breathe in some fresh air and hold it.

Okay, so I don't get why people constantly say, 'You should never be lazy', 'Laziness is bad for your health..' yada yada yada. What is wrong in being lazy once in a while? Everyone deserves to be allowed to relax and indulge sometimes. 

Ofcourse, I'm opening this topic because I get to hear this a lot from my parents these days 😛 but seriously, why is one made to feel so guilty about not doing anything? why can't people allow a person to feel good about being lazy?

Because our grandparents made our parents feel guilty, and our great grandparents made our grandparents feel guilty and so on. See, basically each generation does less work than its previous ones. It feels guilty later on and puts pressure on the next generation to do "something"...no one ever learns !
