The Long Night [Update]
Arohi walked into arjuns room again...which was now her room as well...Realisation struck her...she was married to arjun...once upon a time not long from now this was her dream...being married to arjun...what went wrong?how did that dream turn into a nightmare?arjun went from monster to prince charming to monster again...She was immersed deep in thought thinking in flashback from their first meet...their first fight...their first eye lock...the destiny moment...the kidnapping days they spent together...the sarhali sunrise...she thought of the moment when she was about to tell arjun about their destiny meet...then her thoughts lead her back to the day when the pandit had told her about her destiny moment when she would meet her soulmate...how strange arohi thought...the pandit was right after all...that moment that love did change her life forever...but sadly things changed for the worse rather than for the better...her family was hurt already cause of the kidnapping...but then again arjun had tried so hard to win her back...he had borne so much in those 7 days...and though how muchever arohi denied it she couldnt make her heart accept the fact that arjun was wrong...even till before the moment rashi fell down the she could clearly see the love in his eyes though he had hurt her by lying to her...may be she might have even forgiven him...but the hate that came in arjuns eyes after she fell...the steps he took in that anger...how he had hurt her whole family now there was no forgiveness...maybe uski mohabbat tab sachi thi par ab after what he had done arohi usse nafrat karke badla lene ke siva kuch nahi kar sakti thi...and she would do definitely make arjun pay for hurting the honor of her and her family
Arjun was pacing up and down the stairs angrily and disturbed...what the hell was arohi thinking coming to his house?what next?his life was his fathers the only time he went against him and did something for himself he fell in love which led to this...would he never get anything he wanted in his life?well it wasnt even his life to begin with it was indebted to rps...
Both of them overwhlemed with their own emotions...in a house full of people but still alone...this was such a huge change still both trying to hide their tears and being strong and pretending that everything would be alright some way or the other...and thus as if to compensate for their hidden tears the sky started crying and it rained...and then the power goes of off...instantly arjun remembers arohis fear for the darkness and grabs a few candles and matches and heads towards his room when crosses rashis room and he freezes to his place...he remembers rashis happiness when she had known that she was pregnant...the kasam he took on her unborn baby that he would leave the criminal world for arohi...the fateful day she went to meet arohi for talking about him and then she fell just from beside arohi...maybe arohi didnt push her but she didnt attempt to save her either...and everyone who was even remotely related to brutal death of that baby which hadnt even seen the world...killed before it was properly born...Arjun could never forgive arohi for that...he absent mindedly turned backwards and started walking away when he accidentally hits makrand and the candles and matches fall to the ground...both of them bend down to pick them up
"kya hua bhai?"
"woh..a..r...woh kuch nahi"
arjun leaves the candles there on the ground itself and practically runs away from there as fast as possible...
Makrand who has been with arjun ever since childhood and with arohi during the kidnapping days doesnt take time to join the dots...bhai had remembered arohis fear for dark and was taking candles to her when he came across the room remembered rashi and got furious...makrand knew arjuns temper but also knew his love for arohi...he didnt want the one his bhai loved to feel lonely and afraid...he went and put the candles n matches at the door side knocked the door and went away
Arohi was comparing the darkness to the darkness that has engulfed her entire life...not long from now she had over come this fear of darkness because of her trust in ajrun...her love for him was greater than this fear...but now that the love was no more the fear of darkness increased cause it also held the unspoken pain of loosing her love...she prayed to god to send some light and hope into her life which could show her some direction...when she heard the knock on the door...and goes out side to find candles and matches at the door step...arohi smiles and thanks god...lights the candles and lightens up the room...
The night is very very long...neither arjun nor arohi are able to sleep...both are thinking about the time they spent together and how they drifted apart...from someplace near by a song can be heard from a radio

billu and makrand who are observing arjun and arohi have a bitter smile on their face thinking of the irony of how that song perfectly fit arjun and arohis condition at that point in their lives...
