Hi guys, me again with the 3rd part... I know I am posting this one pretty quickly but that's just because I had written some of the parts last week but was contemplating on posting. I hope you like the next part and will comment on it.. Here you go.
******************************** Part 3 ********************************The tantalizing spicy aroma coming from the kitchen pulled Runjhun inside the kitchen for inspection. She eyed greedily the dishes and was about to nibble from one when her hand was slapped by Mahadevi, her sister in law.
"What are you upto?", enquired Maha
"Kuch nahi bhabi… woh the food was burning.. so I was…"
"Oho!!! Food was buring? But the burner is off darling nanad", Maha teased.
"Oops!", Runjhun flustered and Maha smiled.
"Kab badi hogi Runjhun… you will be served the same food na…"
"Actually Bhabi.. there's a fun in thieving food, you wont understand", Runjhun replied cheekily and received a whack from Maha.
"Tum dono ki masti ho gayi ho to, bestow me with the food", Kukkan entered the kitchen and grabbed his sister by her neck and dragged her outside, ignoring her protests, leaving a giggling Maha

Runjhun was about to cross the gate when she stopped and gaped dumbfounded. She saw Guddu and two boys having a huge fight or it was Guddu beating up the boys black and blue, to be precise. He was angry and his eyes were spitting fire and rage, altogether he was fury personified.
The boys were being badly beaten up and the sight was too much for her to bear and she was about to go and stop the fight but was stopped by Kukkan. The way his jaw was clenched tightly, Runjhun dared not utter a single word.
"Runjhun… I am taking you to the college, I cant let you go alone when this dangerous man is in his original avatar", he grasped her hand and moved.
As soon as Guddu heard Kukkan calling her name, he automatically stopped punching and turned his face towards her and saw her looking at him wide eyed. Their gazes locked and he saw her being escorted by her big brother. As soon as she left he turned back and grabbed the boy's collar.
"What were you calling Runjhun? Masakkali huh?? One more time you call her names and I am going to grind you to bits and distribute it among pigeons, be their dinner.", he left his collar and got up.
He took deep breath to calm down and once again gazed the way she left.
On the other hand Runjhun was dazed, the scene seemed oddly familiar to her.
"But I know, the whole locality knows", Vijay answered and turned his chair toward Guddu. "Guddu yaar, why are you giving wrong impression about yourself to the whole locality, we both know you are not the person here everyone knows you are. Cant you keep it cool?"
"How can I keep it cool when….", his words died in his mouth and he turned towards his desktop.
"Its about her again is it?", Vijay asked finally getting the point.
Silence
"I know its about her, let me guess those good for nothing boys said something really bad about her and you lost your control?"
Silence
"I knew it.. its always her… this Runjhun girl, what has she done to you?"
"Chuck it off will you?", Guddu sounded defeated.
"Why should he?" anwered a voice from the door.
"Hira??? You at this hour?", Guddu was amazed at his friend Hiralal Chawrasia's arrival. The boy was a busy software distributor and it was against his nature to grace his presence in normal timings like this.
"First of all.. The name is Diamond", he stated as a matter of fact.
"Whatever.." Vijay murmured.
"Ya I am here because you two have another client who needs his company software with these specifications", he handed them the requirement file.
"….and because Vijay called me here to talk with you."
"Talk with me why?" Guddu enquired.
"Because I am the person who only speaks to the point and here I go… when are you going to tell her Guddu?"
"Tell her what?" Guddu stiffened.
"Come on man! Its been a year she's back in Kannauj and the only thing you do is stare stare and stare… ever thought of using your vocal chords?"
"I cant..I cant", Guddu confessed pressing his temples.
"Why?", they asked.
"Because she does not remember me… does not recognize me", he said those words and hid his face inside his palm and his friends gave him the knowing look.
Hiralal Chawrasia...oops...sorry Diamond🤣...talks to the point great

****************It was evening and Runjhun was in her room flipping through some notes when her eyes fell on the house opposite and she was again transported to the morning incident. She felt as though she has witnessed the same scenario previously. The sight of Guddu blasting those boys were flashing in front of her eyes, the whole day and she was feeling very uneasy . She had a feeling that she had seen the same fury, the same rage, the same anger somewhere but she couldn't place where.
Runjhun 's head was throbbing like hell and she made her way to the terrace to get some fresh air.
The Prussian blue sky studded with the glistening stars have always been a sight that calmed Guddu's senses. He lay in the couch in his verandah and gazed at the sky. He recalled the way the day had proceeded . He never wanted to hurt those boys so badly, but it was Runjhun , to whom they were passing snide comments and couldn't control his anger. Vijay and Diamond , his best friends are concerned, he knows that but when it comes to Runjhun he is helpless.
Suddenly something pink flashed in front of his eyes and he snapped back to reality. It was Runjhun in her pink pajamas standing on the terrace gazing the moon. She looked beautiful but tired. Guddu's eyes flexed at that observation. He saw her knocking her temples with her knuckles and he sat up alert. He knew this action of hers, had witnessed it quite often and knew instantly she was having a throbbing headache. Wasting no time, he pulled out his mobile phone and made a call, "Hello Vijay…."
Runjhun gazed the star studded sky to find solace but the headache was not letting her enjoy the peaceful night . She had even looked down towards Guddu's house and found him lying in a couch gazing up but today his sight was also not helping, she felt really sick and tired. She didn't want to bother her Amma and everyone as she knew they will be really bothered and will spend the whole night taking care of her and therefore she kept mum.
"Runjhun…Runjhun", a girl ran towards her clad in a mint churidaar kameez and smile.
"Saanchi… you?? Kya hua?" Runjhun asked perplexed at her best friend's arrival.
"Nothing yaar.. was getting bored did I disturb you?"
"No never" she smiled.
"You don't look well Runjhun..kya hua?" she enquired
"Nothing.." Runjhun avoided.
"I don't believe it, your face is tired and your eyes look puffy, are you sick?"
"Nahi Saanchi."
"You are sick I can see it… wait I'll inform Mami and Amma", and Saanchi turned.
"Saanchi.. ruk", Runjhun stopped her. " Don't tell them, I am fine, bas thodi si headache hai, I'll be fine by tomorrow"
"Ok fine.. I wont tell them", Saanchi assured "..But I will give you a damn good Oil massage ok?"
"Saanchi.. don't bother really..", and she was interrupted.
"I wont listen to you… come will give you a nice head massage", she pulled her in and Runjhun followed her with a defeated smile.

Saanchi headed out of the Pandey Niwas and bumped into a person. The person straightened her from falling and grabbed her arm and dragged her.
"Please let me go" and the other one kept mum.
"Let me go Bhaiya, I am not a chota bachcha I can go home alone… Guddu Bhaiya are you listening?"
"Saanchi… I am not letting you go alone.", he stated as a matter of fact.
"Bhaiya my house is not far, I can go by myself really"
"Saanchi", he warned. " I am taking you home and that's final."
"I am going to complain Vijay dada about you… boht Ziddi ho gaye ho aap", she whined and he smiled.
"Trust me.. your Vijay dada will take your complain as compliment.", he winked.
"Hmph", she pouted.
"Lo aa gaya tumhara ghar… Good night Saanchi"
"Good Night Bhaiya", she turned only to be called back.
"Saanchi woh…", he stammered . "Woh…"
"Woh bhi both ziddi hai", Saanchi answered smiling knowingly " and no usne dawai nahi li… but I took care of the matter, gave her a nice oil massage and tucked her in her bed, she'll be fine bhaiya"
"Thanks a lot Saanchi", he sounded relieved.
"Mera commission?", Saanchi asked extending her palm and Guddu placed a chocolate bar. She smiled and ran inside the house.

"Bantu Beta you look tired", Amma sat beside him caressing his hair.
"I am Amma, its been a tough day."
"Malum hai beta… any news?"
"None of the news are good news Amma", he answered gulping the water brought by Billo.
"What do you mean Bantu?", Billo enquired taking the seat beside him.
"I don't think we are going to get back our medical shop and dispensary Billo, it's a tough fight"
"I know Bantu, but what I don't understand is how the tables got turned"
"Billo, when you are dealing with Guddu Shukla, anything is possible, he is not going make the matter easy."
"Magar beta, the whole fiasco costs a bomb, how did Guddu Shukla got hold of that much money?", Amma enquired.
"That's a mystery to me Amma.. That good for nothing, illiterate rogue must have looted or have done lots of illegal work to gain so much money, don't you see the house he bought 3 years back, it costs a bomb.", Bantu answered frustrated.
"Beta calm down", Amma tried soothing him.
"How can I Amma? That boy has some strong political connections and some loyal sets of anonymous friends to help him, it seems like he is hell bent on destroying us, Pandeys."
"Don't tell me that Bantu!", Billo sounded surprised.
"Main na kehta hoon… boht poucha hua Gunda hai… maybe he also has underworld connection, who knows.", Bantu answered.
"Are you people out of your mind?", Kukkan entered the room angrily.
"Kya hua Beta?" , Amma enquired.
"Runjhun ghar mein hai and you people are discussing about that Guddu Shukla?? We cant let her remember him."
"Runjhun is Sleeping Kukkan, don't worry", Billo answered and he relaxed.
"Kukkan beta, you visited the hospital na? what happened?", Amma asked.
"Kuch nahi amma, Vishnu chacha is in the same condition, no change, no improvement", he announced.
