yup Lana.. but what is the red thing like a nariyal or bell thing that she holds? I litreally love that .. we have a similar thing as well.. before the bride walks the the Aile escorted by her Mama or Masa.. & there is white cloth cover the groom so that she does not see the groom face till she reaches the mandap..

Aditee r u cover the nose pulling by the mom in law at the entrace when the barati comes.. that another ritual done.. where the 2 unmarried girls of the bride has 3 pots held on top of her head.. it calld vaar Beda.. When the Groom covers The MIL does Tikka... Puja.. Pulls his nose and then the groom has to pay the Girls by puting money in the ver beda.. ! It marking respect that we u being put on a high respect..!

She holds a silver nut cracker or a thing where u put kaajal! I don't know what its called, in bengali we call kajallata! And the red thing?? She doesn't hold any red thing! Ab BT pata nahi kya kya dikhaya hai!

When Kanyadan goes on the father gives the bride's hand to the groom on top of a kalash which has a nariyal & that is covered in red cloth I think. I don't remember the girl carrying it.

Achha btw the Punjus too have that bride walking in that liquid vermillion, right? Then doodh ubalna when she enters the house for the first time??? Humlogon mein bhi yeh hota hai.

congrats for the 3rd thread..i was expecting some updates so as early as possible i switched on my lappy..but only wedding precap was there..its ok..need to get ready for work..catch up with the update later..bye..

Aditee, been married forever now, it was cradle snatching. 😳 I mean I was the innocent baby.

It was a fhatafat one, jhat magni and pat vya. My hubby did not trust me, he knew if I got a chance to think, it would probably never happen, so now I am stuck for life with one the sweetest guys. 😳

I have attended lots of weddings, cousins and all...was too busy checking out the cute guys 🤣 to notice any good rituals or pranks.

I will let you know if I can come up with some.

Ab main aur kya bolun di, that has not been said before...

The one thing that shall stay with me forever whenever I think Casa...borrowing from Saaz, "Casa heals!"

Truer words were not spoken...People known, People unknown have connected to you Aditi, through Casa...such has been the enormity of the manner in which it has touched lives!

Do know that I have been one of the unlucky few who has a LOT of catching up to do...but just reading the synopsis that you have posted on pg 1 of this thread, took me back to those parts that had completely blown me away!!

Mere taraf se ek chota sa compliment...will always pray to the great God Almighty that some day, this story proves to be the inspiration of a timeless love story on screen, just as a beautiful love story had proved to be yours!😊

Have said this earlier, will say this again...do publish Casa as a short story collection!

Am so, so, HAPPY for you, Aditi, on the third thread...Congratulations!!
