Caro, read this article:

http://www.india-forums.com/forum_posts.asp?TID=1693798#42907725

The director of SRK's home production Always Kabhi Kabhi seems to think this is how the young gen in Delhi talks. 😕
I would never in my wildest dream guess the meaning of undie the condi of the situ. 😕😆

Caro..I agree..the song lyrics are plain weird and sound very wrong. SRK should have stuck to his gut feeling on it and not have it in the movie.

I guess this is another lame attempt at trying to be "cool" and "relating" to the young generation. 🥱

Hi eraser! Sorry I dunno what bandish means 😕

Simran, it doesn't have a dirty meaning 😆
apparenly undie the condi of the situ = understand the condition of the situation..and this phrase has been passed down in Delhi colleges. 😕

Umm I can give it a shot...baandish means (not literally but context type)...to be tied down from doing something or forbidden...like being clenched down

So I can guess ke it's saying why do we die following norms...something like why do we let ourselves die in being handcuffed etc...baandish kyon lagi hai...why are we forbidden/stopped

I could totally be wrong...my first language is Punju...I've learned Hindi from my fiance LOL

shutting up ji😳

Himani...😆...I have friends from Delhi...and no...they don't talk like that ji. That's just lame lol

Thanks Simran! Wow, nice lyrics. It's from Saigal blues, the new song from Delhi Belly. So apt for me. Love it!
