Now we can either panic and do nothing or we can fight and let the channel know exactly what we think of their new and "improved" strategy. 😉 😡

No abuses please. We need to be firm and deal with facts to show them that they are making a mistake. Star One comes up with these genius ideas from time to time 😡

1) Saas-Bahu shows have never worked on Star One. The minute something turns Saas-Bahu their audience turns the other way. A classic example is Love Ne Mila Di Jodi (LNMDJ). They brought in what they called a "gharelu tadka" (I still shudder at that word ) on Jan 1st and by mid Feb we knew the show was wrapping up. They did not attract new audiences and the people who were watching stopped watching. Their TRPs dropped . On a lighter vein we launched a search for people who started watching after the saas-bahu saga started because they claimed the TRPs were up and found one person in Dubai who started watching afterr the saas-bahu nonsense started. 🤣 🤣 🤣

2) Star One gets possessed by this revamping bhooth every year it looks like 🤔. When they ended LNMDJ, they made DMG and MJHT go through leaps and see how that worked out. Both shows wrapped up. They also introduced Geet and RBO saying that they would be women-centric themes. But did they get the TRPs they needed? Nope. As long as they had family nonsense in Geet the TRPs did not come and there was talk of the show going off the air. Instead when they moved the show to Delhi and started the office track aka the youth oriented track - that gave them the TRPs they needed. 👍🏼

3) They tried to inject a nonsense saas-bahu flavor in Geet with the introduction on Annie and the AA track. The whole nonsense smacked of Kekta. So what happened to the TRPs? They bombed again and they had to revamp the whole show and mess up Geet's character to bring the TRPs to an even keel.

TO BEAT THIS WE NEED TO ATTACK THE PROBLEM ON TWO FRONTS

If I remember properly then every year star one goes through this bhoot of revamp😆...when Geet and RBO were launched..it was also sort of a revamp with their two existing shows DMG and MJHT going through leaps and other all shows went off air...but what happened ?..the idea flopped badly with people rejecting DMG and MJHT post leaps and even Geet-RBO failed to get ratings with family saga going on..only when Geet turned into a youth oriented rom-com flick ,its trps went high...

So after all this if star one still does not learn any lesson...then nothing to say😕😆

Moral of the story is Star one is youth oriented channel and only youth can give trps to this channel ...

So pulling off a popular youth show like Geet means putting the axe on their own feet by taking away a massive viewership from the channel..they did the same mistake by pulling off DMG and MJHT to launch their new shows and once again they r commiting the same mistake

If star one has little brains left then they will retain GHSP in the channel and will also make sure that GHSP's youth flavour is maintained so that in case their so called new shows all flop ,at least GHSP can save thier face😃

Star one needs a reality check asap ..every year this bhooth of revamp is not taking their channel anywhere and they r only loosing their loyal viewership from the channel and when it comes to attracting saas-bahu crowd ,well why will they watch star-one for gujju shows ??...instead they hv better options like colors or zee or star plus which r at least originals in saas-bahu trend unlike star one which will b only considered as copy cats if they go into saas-bahu genre just because other channels hv done so...Audience always prefers original than copy-cats and in this case audience will prefer colors or zee or star puls for their saas-bahu sagas rather than giving trps to Star-one😆...Star-one has its loyal viewership only because of youth shows and if they loose that flavour then they will hv nowhere to go...😆...

If trps r not coming,its not because of the show quality,its because star one's net reach is low...Even today major part of India r not getting this channel and r forced to watch the shows online...so if they want to do something to improve their trps then they better improve the reach of the channel and make sure star one is seen all over India...then trps will automatically come for their youth shows😊

Last but not the least after ending DMG and MJHT ..they introduced some shows like DLMH with political background to experiment...Did it work ??...Instead they even lost the loyal viewership of DMG and MJHT fans resulting in lower trps ...Once again Star one is going to do the same mistake if they end GHSP for some saas-bahu drama...They r going to loose a huge loyal fan base from the channel for sure...So now the choice is star one's...if they want to put the axe on their own feet then fine noone can stop them from commiting suicide😆..but if after seeing this huge outburst ,they hv got some senses back ,then they will never dare to end GHSP at least this year...

And all viewers in India make sure we watch the show in prime time slot at 9.30pm sharp if we want to see Maaneet and Gurti on our screen ...remember GHSP ending means end of Gurti/Maaneet...So choice is ours...if we r not contributing to trps then its end of Gurti and Maaneet forever😭😭...so plsss contribute to trps at 9.30pm 😊

Star one has been catering exclusively to the young and hip audience.

Their TRP's shot up only because of the romantic comedies .

Their core audience is the hip and trendy urban audience who do not like melodrama.

There are enough shows on Star Plus,Colors and Zee TV to cater Saas -Bahu soaps to cater the house wives and older generation.

In an attempt to reach a wider audience , this experiment by SO will end up alienating their current audience.

GEET is still one of the top shows keeping the channel afloat.

Please do not bring in Kitchen politics and spoil the essence of an unique show.

Geet is a trendsetter ...a path breaking show which took the Soapworld by surprise..

It went against the norms ..Its full of positivity, passion, romance and the leads who fight against the odds to be together. It has been an inspiration to many other shows.

Star One should stick to catering the 15-35 yrs trendy and Urban demographic .

Please Contribute to TRP's by watching GEET at 9.30pm.

OMG i think these SO ppl have lost it... They r hell bent on killing their golden goose... A bunch of dunderheads...😡😡😡😡😡

The very clever team of SO r planning to serve saas-bahu soaps on the platter in its bid to attract trp's... I think they tried it with LNMDJ but failed miserably... Buy wat to do, some ppl never learn from their mistakes... 🤢🤢🤢🤢🤢🤢🤢

The only way to avert it is to watch Geet and contribute to TRP's...

I suggest SO Shut shops...

Maaneet are giving them TRP's and with geet going off air...trp's will hit rock bottom
